Spell the Month in books October 2025

I am happy to be participating in this monthly meme again! It is hosted by Jana @ Reviews From the Stacks. Here is how she describes the meme: Spell the Month in Books is a linkup hosted on Reviews From the Stacks on the first Saturday of each month.

Spell the Month in Books is a pretty straightforward meme. On the first Saturday of each month I open up a thread welcoming participants to leave a comment with a link to their post, but you can join at any point during the month. Find book titles that start with each letter in the month’s name, make a list, share your list, and that’s it! At the end of each linkup post I share optional challenge themes for the next three months and a button that you can embed in your post if you want an easy way to point others here.

This month's theme is Trick or Treat: books you feel strongly about, either positively or negatively

No tricks, only treats here, I don't dis books or authors-I have read and enjoyed all of these. I made it harder on my self by trying to stick with fall books as well.

O-Old Town Symphony by Milla Holt

C-Can't Help Falling by Courtney Walsh

T-The Fall Back Plan by Melanie Jacobson

O-One Enchanted Christmas by Melissa Tagg

B- B is For Bonnet by Shelley Shepard Gray

E-Easy as Pie by Carina Taylor

R-Runaway Bride and Prejudice by Emma St. Clair

Upcoming Themes:

November 1: Nostalgia

December 6: Giftable – Books you would give or would like to receive as a gift

January 3, 2026: New Books – Ones you have received recently or are looking forward to reading or seeing published this year

There you have it, the month of October spelled with books I have read. Are you participating in this meme? If you decide to participate, let me know, and I will visit your post! Have a great week!

  2. Well done for finding books that fit two, well really, three categories, the correct letter and the two topics you chose. Fantastic. I was glad I could stick with the subject we were given. LOL
    Here is my list:

  3. I keep thinking I'll read that fall series by multi authors and never do. I've seen a couple of the authors redid the covers and each time I've seen it, my first thought was "new book" before I realized it was just a new cover art. Gets me each time. ;)

    1. Rissi, yep. Most of them are doing it because it was a connected series, but for a few of the authors, it also connected to their other series. I don't like that they are being redone either.

  4. This sounds like such a fun challenge! I'm realizing that I don't have a lot of books starting with O, time to research!
