as we have it for 15-30 minutes a day to boost my immune system. I didn't end up working this week, with still being sick and unsure if I was contagious, so I had more free time than normal. We are hoping to do some hiking this weekend, I am still trying to get all my energy back, but I am ready to get back to my hikes and walks as well.
Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

Other updates:
With not having to work this week, I was able to finish 6 books this week. I finished one late last night, so that review will be up on Sunday. Three of the finished books I had been reading for a while. Regardless, it was a pretty good reading week.
My other blog if you are interested.
What you might have missed on the blog the last 2 weeks:
Book Review: A Very Merry Matchup by Becca Kinzer
Book Review: Even If I Perish by Terrie Todd
Top Ten Tuesday: Random Nonbookish Post
Book Review: Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë
Book Review: Holes by Louis Sachar
Book Review: Flourish By Ava Pennington
I am also linking up with the Sunday Post. The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. I will also be joining Deb at Readerbuzz for the Sunday Salon.
Your book list looks very interesting. PS I hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks Cathy! I appreciate you stopping by!
DeleteHope you are able to do some hiking, or at least take a good long walk.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah, I did get out and walk this morning.
DeleteI'm so sorry you can't shake the guck. Here's hoping you get well and feel better soon! And I love Annah Conwell's books; I just finished reading The Run Option and really liked it. :D
ReplyDeleteThanks Lark! I love Annah's books as well. This is the last in the series, I have read all the others. I am not sure how many of her books I have left to read, hopefully a few more :)
DeleteI hope that you get well soon. It sounds nasty.

DeleteThat's a long time to be dealing with crud! I hope you're feeling better soon. Those are some cozy book choices for the season and for sick days.
ReplyDeleteThanks Joy!
DeleteI’m so sorry you’re still unwell. I’m glad you took the week to rest and hopefully you’ll feel better very soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jodie!
DeleteMy dr. told me in April to sit in the sun for 30 minutes a day to boost my immune system. I live in Florida and the sun is very hot on your skin, especially your head if you sit for that long but I do it.
ReplyDeleteVicki, yep, that's the same reason my doctor gave me, told me to do it every day 15-30 minutes.
DeleteI'm sorry the cried has been hard to shake. My husband has it and I think I’m coming down with it. Great that you got extra reading time though!
ReplyDeletecrud - not cried. Sheesh!
DeleteThanks Olivia! I hope your all's is VERY short lived!!!
DeleteOof, hope you get your strength back soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks Nicky!
DeleteGreat job on the reading, and hope you're finally on the mend!!

DeleteInteresting that you were asked to get sunshine to ward off the crud. I do hope that this is the week you get over all this yuckiness. At least you were able to get in some good reading time.
ReplyDeleteThanks Deb! The sunshine is supposed to boost your immune sytem.
DeleteOh my goodness Cindy! I am sorry to hear that you are still not feeling well. Hopefully this round clears it up for you!
ReplyDeleteThanks Erin, I am praying it does!
DeleteIf I lived on your street I'd bring you homemade chicken soup! I am sorry you are back on meds. Took me 6 weeks once for an infection and the antibiotics changed my tastebuds afterward. Weird.
ReplyDeleteTina, thank you, that is sweet! I think it's going to be a lot of junk going around this year. I will be doing all I can to ward it off. But, hopefully, this will be it for me!
DeleteOh Cindy! I'm so sorry you're going through this and hope you get more rest this weekend. Good for you being able to finish six books! Hugs to you!
ReplyDeleteThanks Patricia!
DeleteI hope you feel much better this week. Sunshine really can make a difference and it’s the perfect opportunity to sit and read while you soak it in.
