Stacking the Shelves #203 Sunday Post #200 Sunday Salon #194

Hey, my bookish friends!!  How are you all doing? It was a long, busy week, but I survived. The weather was in the 50s and it was SO nice to be able to get out and walk some! Fake spring is over and it is cold again, I even saw flurries on my way home from work on Friday. I had book club on Thursday, and that is always a fun time. We are not doing much this weekend. I will probably go pick up my library holds, and we will go to Church, other than that just normal stuff around the house.

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your  shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

Net Galley: None

Library Treasures: None (I need to pick up my holds)

Book Mail: None

Other updates:

I finished 4 books this week, and DNFd two. One of the books was a 2-star read so it won't be featured on the blog. I still need to write the review from the book I finished last night (Friday). It was a low blogging week, I just didn't have the capacity for anything extra this week.

My other blog if interested.

What you might have missed on the blog this week:

Book Review: Hearts in Circulation by Sarah Monzon

Book Review: Shadowed Witness by Angela Carisle

Book Review: To Charm a Lady by Joanna Barker

I am also linking up with the Sunday Post. The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. I will also be joining Deb at Readerbuzz for the Sunday Salon.

What books have you added to your physical or virtual bookshelves? I would love to hear from you. Click on the icons below to join in on the fun. Have a great weekend!

  4. I was interested to hear that you won't feature a book on the blog because you gave it 2 stars - do you try and make sure you only share books you enjoyed on the blog?

    1. Keira, yes, I only feature ones I will recommend and enjoyed. I don't mention my 2-star or DNFs (by name) here. I do have all that on my Goodreads though.

  5. I'm sorry you had such a long and busy week. I hope you are able to get some rest this weekend.

I don't share any books that I rate lower than a three-star ("okay") read.

  6. I hope you have been able to relax this weekend. We’ve finally got sunshine, so the laundry is getting done. But it’s not as warm as it looks.

  7. We had flurries yesterday that surprised everyone! Fortunately, it didn't amount to anything. Our book club was on Thursday, too! So much fun while it definitely adds more to an already busy week!

  8. My husband and I got to take a walk together on Friday–our first long(ish) one since all the snow! Everything's melting, so the sidewalks were very wet, but at least they were mostly clear. I hope you have a great week!

  10. It snowed here too, but not very much. It was just windy and cold. I hope you have a great week!

  11. I love walking outside too! I even walked in the rain and wind with a shopping trolley this week! Have a good week Cindy.

    1. Oh wow, Jodie, you are more dedicated than I am. I will not walk in the rain, too worried I will get pneumonia or something.

  14. Two stars for me is still ‘OK’ (as opposed to 3 which is ‘good’ and 1 which is disappointing) .
I hope you get warmer weather soon

Wishing you a lovely reading week

    1. Shelleyrae, 3 is okay for me, 2 is disappointing, and 1 is pointless.

  15. We are in the middle of blizzard right now, but it is nice to look at the snow through the window since I rescheduled my appointment. Sounds like you've been busy reading. Hope you have a great week, Cindy!

    1. Cheryl, I don't think ours is considered a blizzard, but we have been pounded and it's not letting up until sometime tonight or tomorrow.

  16. Glad you got through the week! I hate when a book is a two-star. It makes me feel like I wasted my time for reading a good book instead!

    1. Lisa-yes! And, for that particular one, I was like, why did I finish this?!
