Stacking the Shelves #41, Sunday Post #38, Sunday Salon #32

Hey bookish friends! How are things going for you? I am cleaning this morning because we have an open house today. Other than that I am not sure how the weekend will go (it's hard to plan when your house is on the market!). I hope to get some reading in this weekend though.

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

NetGalley: none

Library: none (actually took some back 😂)

Kindle Freebies: none

Book Mail for Review:

Bought

I had not heard of Penelope Stokes before so I grabbed this at the used bookstore to try. Have you read anything by her?

Other updates:

I added 6 books to my Goodreads shelf this week.

I finished 2 books this week, and DNF 1 (I may go back to it later but I didn't have time to read it and it was a library book). I am caught up on my reviews! I had one update on my family blog this week:

God is in the details

What you might have missed on the blog this week:

Book Review: In Good Company

Top Ten Tuesday: Authors that gravitate toward geographical terms

Can't Wait Wednesday: Anything But Plain

Book Review: My Dear Miss Dupré

First Line Friday #63-A Rumored Fortune

I am also linking up with the Sunday Post. The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. I will also be joining Deb at Readerbuzz for the Sunday Salon.

What books have you added to your physical or virtual bookshelves? I would love to hear from you. Click on the icons below to join in on the fun. Have a great weekend!

  3. I'm wishing you good cleaning vibes. I've sold a few houses in my lifetime, and it's never easy, but always rewarding to move on. Best of luck with your open house today!

  5. Selling your house is hard work. I hope yours sells fast! I attended a used book sale this week and left with only one book! I am really trying to only buy books that aren't available at my library. Have a great weekend!

    1. Gretchen, that's what I do, try to buy the ones that my library doesn't have. I have requested my library to get so many books and now we are moving, I worry what my new library system will have!

  6. I hope the open house went well! I noticed our next door neighbor has put up a for sale sign in their yard. Her husband passed away from COVID and so I am not surprised she's decided to move since it's a nice size house and she's all by herself. Hopefully we will get some nice new neighbors. I hope you have a great week and enjoy your reading!

  7. Interesting looking books. I only had one book to stack my shelf with this week and that was a kindle freebie!

    Have a great weekend!

  13. I hope your house sells quickly and that you have time to plan and do activities a little more.

I can imagine that What If Jesus Was Serious is a great read.
