Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

Other updates:
With being sick for the better part of three days I got behind on reading and am overdue for one of my reviews. I finished 3 books and the reviews for them are below.
To see what's happening on the home front you can read my update here.
What you might have missed on the blog:
Book Review: The Bluff (audio review)
Book Review: Of Literature & Lattes
Top Ten Tuesday: A Spring Bouquet of Roses
Book Review: The Weight of Air
Book Review: Shift
I am also linking up with the Sunday Post. The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. I will also be joining Deb at Readerbuzz for the Sunday Salon.
I've had a couple times where the library holds all come in at once and I have a huge stack to work through. Usually I manage to make it work (sometimes with a renewal or two). Have a terrific week and find time to put your feet up with a good book.

Thanks Harvee!!
DeleteSounds like a slow book week for you then? Congrats on winning a novel though. That one looks interesting. Happy reading.
ReplyDeleteLyn, yes, a little bit of a slow reading week for me, my average is probably 4 books a week.
DeleteYour restraint this week is admirable. I hope you enjoy your new books and have a great weekend. - Katie

Thanks Katie! Don't worry, next week I KNOW I will be buying a book, LOL!
DeleteHope you're feeling better soon! Miss Newbury's List has an intriguing title and cover.
ReplyDeleteJoy, I think so too. I am thankful to receive it!
DeleteSorry to hear you were sick. Hope you are feeling better now.
ReplyDeleteThanks Hena!
DeleteSo sorry you have been dealing with illness at your house. Glad things are on the mend. Miss Newbury's List sounds really fun. I will be picking up Knox by Susan May Warren and The Mistletoe Countess by Pepper Basham at the library. I read Knox a couple of years ago, but never got around to the rest in the series. I am going to reread Knox before continuing the series. Hope you have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks Gretchen!

DeleteHope you're feeling better. Getting sick messes up so much of your life, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteMark, unfortunately it does! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI think a stomach bug is the worst sickness. It just seems to go on and on and you have no energy. I'm sorry you and your husband have both been suffering.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to get caught up once you get over sickness, too. I hope both of you are on your feet and feeling good soon.
Thanks Deb!
DeleteI hope you and your husband feel better soon!

DeleteThanks Vicki!
ReplyDeleteI had that nasty stomach bug. Throwing up the first day and then incredibly weak for 2 - 3 days. Awful.
ReplyDeleteBonnie, yep, sounds about right. Sorry you had to deal with it too!
DeleteOh no- glad you're feeling better though.
ReplyDeleteThanks Greg!
DeleteI’m sorry to hear that you and your husband have not been well. It takes so long sometimes to recover from some of these things. Congratulations on the Goodreads win! Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jodie!
DeleteI have about the same amount of books from the library as well. Most renew multiple times since they aren't requested by other people, so I can have them for up to nine weeks. Have a great week and I hope you both feel better soon!! :-)
ReplyDeleteMeezan, same, mine have been renewing, LOL! I am *trying* not to get any more out, but some of mine that have been on hold forever came in, LOL!
DeleteI'm sorry to hear about all the illness. I hope you both are feeling better. Hope this is a better week for you.
ReplyDeleteThanks Yvonne!
