Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

What you might have missed on the blog this week:

Top Ten Tuesday- Valentine's Reads
Book Review: Wedding at Sea by Melissa Tagg
I am also linking up with the Sunday Post. The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. I will also be joining Deb at Readerbuzz for the Sunday Salon.
Oh, my. this winter season is bringing a lot of illnesses. Hope you recover soon and do well.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Harvee!
DeleteThey're closing the Joann's by me, too. And I'm so sad. It was such a nice store. And I have no idea where I'm going to go to get fabric and yarn now. 😥
ReplyDeleteLark, we have a Hobby Lobby, and other quilting shops (that are more expensive), so I am really going to miss it!
DeleteThat's a lot of health problems for one week! My husband caught a cold last week from the great-niblings, but he seems to be on the upswing today.
ReplyDeleteJoy, glad your husband is improving!
DeleteOh dear. I hadn't heard about Joann's Fabrics. That was my mom's favorite store. My aunt will be devastated.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry you and your daughter were sick. Ugh.
Thanks, Deb!
DeleteI was away for 6 1/2 years so today I was THRILLED to see that the old Marshalls is now a gigantic Joanns, but now you're telling me they're closing some?? all??? Nooooooooo.
ReplyDeleteJinjer, not all, but 0ver 500 stores.
DeleteThat does sound like such a long/tiring week! Hope you all feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Nicky!
DeleteOh no I hope your entire family is feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Teri!
DeleteUghhh I hope you feel better this week. My husband is not feeling great either. :( Weeks like that do feel really long. Get some rest all of you and I hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Erin! We have been taking it easy!
DeleteIt’s awful when everyone is down at the same time, I hope you all recover quickly.
ReplyDeleteWishing you all a better week
Thanks Shelley!
DeleteThis winter is dragging on! My daughter woke up not feeling well yesterday, and hubby came home early from work yesterday because he wasn't up to it and needed to rest. Hope your family is on the mend!
ReplyDeleteThanks Becki, I hope yours recovers quickly and you don't catch anything!
DeleteI hope you start feeling well soon. All the JoAnn’s around me are on the chopping block too. To be honest though, I usually order direct from Premier Yarns, Herrschners, or go to local yarn stores. As fun as getting new books is, it would be nice to have a week without any coming in so I can catch up. But that’s all my doing.
ReplyDeleteCarla, I go to JoAnn's for my business expenses, and fabric, so it is a huge blow. I shop there and Hobby Lobby for my yarn, so I will be fine there.
DeleteI bet it was a long week Cindy - I hope everyone feels better soon. There is lots of influenza activity in my home province right now. I’ve been vaccinated but still want to mask up so I don’t bring something home for the high risk people in my life. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteJodie, the flu is high everywhere, I think. But, we didn't have it. I think we should have had my daughter tested for Co**d for as long as she was sick, but we didn't think of it.
DeleteI hope that you all get well soon!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your books. It's a shame about the DNF.

DeleteI'm sorry about all the illness at your house. I hope everyone is doing better. Hope this is a better week for all of you.
ReplyDeleteThanks Yvonne!
DeleteWe don't have Joann's where I'm at but I was sad to hear the news too. I'd hope that they might open some stores here but I didn't expect that they'd close down so many instead. I'm sorry to hear your family haven't been feeling well, I hope you all feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks Haze!
DeleteWe don't have a Joanne's near us but we used to have one a couple hours away. I'm sad to hear businesses like this are going out of business. It shows that more and more of us are not doing crafts and sewing, etc. It's a lost art really. I miss actual brick and mortor buildings where you could go in and look at things and feel them and choose -- shopping online just isn't as satisfying to me
ReplyDeleteLisa, I agree!
DeleteEleanor has been sick for over a week and I finally caught it on Thursday night, except our symptoms are so different. But I don't know how else to explain me getting sick. We are having a cozy day inside since it's snowing and we have the day off from school. Hoping to have a few extra days off because it is about to get reeeeeealllllllyyyy cold. Fingers crossed!
ReplyDeleteSarah, it's a mess, isn't it?! I hope you both are feeling better soon!
DeleteSorry you've had such a rough week of sickness in your house! Ugh, that's winter. Hope you are on the mend and you get reading reviews in this week!
