Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

Other updates:
I finished 5 books this week (2 nonfiction that I had started weeks ago) and I DNFed 3 books!! That is a record for me, I don't think I have ever DNFed that many books in a week. I am almost caught up on reviews (two more to go). I did several updates on my family blog this week. Spring is springing here, I have proof, LOL. These are the flowers in my front yard, and I am also sharing a small quilt project I finished and my husband hung up this week.

What you might have missed on the blog this week:
Book Review: Bram Baxter Marries the Wrong Sister by Latisha Sexton
Book Review: Save the Date by Jenny B. Jones
Top Ten Tuesday-"B" Book Titles
Book Review: Cooper Bailey is a Cinnamon Roll by Jen Atkinson
Book Review: Get A Hobby by Jasmine Cho
Book Review: The Joy of Falling by Lindsay Harrel
Book Review: The Perfect Putt by Annah Conwell
I am also linking up with the Sunday Post. The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. I will also be joining Deb at Readerbuzz for the Sunday Salon.
Love your garden. We have cold weather till after Mother's Day, so the yard is sparse of flowers. Love your spring blooms.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI hope you do get a little time to yourself this weekend to relax and rest!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lark, I am currently by myself catching up on a few things, but I will take it.
DeleteI just spent some $$ at a local nursery as the sun has been shining and they were having a sale! I hope your appointment went well and that you can relax the rest of the weekend Cindy.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jodie!
DeleteYour flowers are so pretty! I can't manage to keep anything alive so I quit trying.
ReplyDeleteSarah, I didn't plant them, and I haven't done anything to keep them alive, not even weed eating, and yet they live.
DeleteI love your flowers and the VW bug. I've wanted one since the 70's but started having kids and didn't know how safe it would be with them.
ReplyDeleteVicki, this is the perfect way to own one, LOL!
DeleteThe flowers in your yard are gorgeous. I wonder if they are bulbs. I'd like to learn more about bulbs. And I love seeing that beautiful quilt. My aunt is going to teach me how to quilt-as-you-go this summer, and I'm looking forward to it.
ReplyDeleteDeb, I have already decided that I will be doing the quilt-as-you-go method for my next big quilt. I have bought some of the materials (it's a king size quilt), so I will prep what I have, then buy more ;)
DeleteI hope you get plenty of time to relax this weekend! I actually did add a physical book to my shelves this week–that's rare, as I usually get my books from the library. But I went to a local bookstore yesterday for Independent Bookstore Day and bought a copy of Anne Tyler's Three Days in June. I already started reading it and am enjoying it so far!
ReplyDeleteThanks Karis, I hope it turns out to be a winner for you!
DeleteYour flowers look lovely. I hope you enjoy a quiet afternoon.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kimberly!
DeleteYour garden is beautiful. Thanks for being a part of Stacking the Shelves!
ReplyDeleteThanks Marlene!
DeleteYour flowers are beautiful and made me think of a blurb I saw yesterday...I think it was a lady saying 3 broccoli plants cost her $100??? I sure hope they produce A LOT of broccoli.
ReplyDeleteJinjer, holy cow that is insane! I hope so too for that amount of money!!
DeleteWell done on DNFing books! It's something I am not great at!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Marg, some books are just not worth the time!
DeleteCindy, those flowers are so beautiful. Good job on DNFing books that doesn't connect to you.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteYour flowers are so cheery!
ReplyDeleteThose weeks with lots of appointments can be so tiring. I hope that all is ok and that this week you do get some relaxing time in.
Thanks Erin!
DeleteOh…yes. When we are in town we play catch-up with doctor appointments. I hope all is well. Your garden is lovely! I’m experimenting with bulbs this year, fingers crossed! I love to visit coffee shops, especially locally owned ones, as well! Get a Hobby sounds fabulous! It’s now on my Saved for Later list! Your quilt handing looks fun! Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeletePatricia, I am not sure you need another hobby, LOL! You seem pretty busy as it is. I love seeing your works in progress.
