Sign Me Up

Title: Sign Me Up

Series: Kissing a Kent Brother #1

Author: Dulcie Dameron

Source: Library

My Review:

So, I had to go back and read the first book in the Kissing a Kent Brother series, since I had already read the second one. They are better read in order, but can be read as stand alone novels. I am looking forward to reading the third book when it comes out.

Jamie and Parker have been best friends since he started working at the paper. Now, things seem different, and Jamie is trying to figure out why.

Read for:

🏢best friends to more

🏢mutual pining

🏢deaf representation

🏢"pinky"

🏢annoying co-workers

🏢 the Office vibes

🏢witty banter

🏢Parker is so sweet

This was another fun read by Dulcie Dameron.

★★★★/5

Synopsis (Goodreads):

What’s a girl to do when her co-worker bestie sends her mixed signals during a work crisis?
This past year has been one for the record books…

First, my Pops checked himself into a nursing home when his dementia started taking over, leaving me on my own for the first time ever.

Second, my impossible-to-please boss has decided to change the emotionally stunted climate of our workplace by throwing me and all my co-workers into the worst social experiment of the decade.

And third, my ex-boyfriend, Mike, has suddenly decided to care about me.

Which brings me to another interesting development…when Parker, my tall, dark, and handsome work bestie, discovers Mike’s intentions, things between us go from friendly to…more than friendly.

I’ve always thought my attraction to Parker was one-sided, but when he starts shooting those flirty looks and touches my way, my heart starts to wonder if the feeling is mutual.

But even if it is, I’m not sure if I can cross over the line of friendship in the midst of a work/life crisis and risk the best relationship I’ve ever had.
