Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Goals for 2026 (Bookish or not! Share your reading goals, personal goals, etc.). I do have bookish goals that I made this year, pretty similar to every other year, I think. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
Top Ten Tuesday-Bookish Goals
🕮 read 200 books
- 50 that I own (physical and Kindle)
- 12 or more on Kindle Unlimited (because we pay for it, really should be 24, but my husband does read from it some)
🕮 Less ARCs (I want one or less a month)
🕮 No reading challenges other than my Goodreads goal to read 200 books
🕮 Work on reading existing series I have started
🕮 Focus on the nonfiction I own on my Kindle (I didn't read any from here last year, but I did add to it 🤦)
🕮 Reread the Holly series by C.C. Warrens
🕮 Reread the Anne of Green Gables series
Nonbookish goal: be intentional (with my time, my health, reading what I want, etc.)
I love reading and I don't need goals to read, but I do enjoy making them and seeing how I do over the year. The goal of this year is less pressure and stress. I dropped several goals I normally make (read more male authors #fail because I can't find any that write the genres I like), and read more new-to-me authors (I do this anyway, so don't need the reminder this year).
