Stacking the Shelves #197 Sunday Post #194 Sunday Salon #188

Happy New Year my bookish friends!!  How are you all doing? It has been weeks since I have had time to do these weekend posts, I have missed catching up with you all. We moved into our rental house on December 19th, celebrated Christmas at home, then went to TN for 5 days, and I also took a solo trip to Indianapolis for 2 days to see my mom, but we are ALMOST completely settled. There are still a few things to do and I am so ready to be done! I am still reading, but ready to have more time for blogging and other stuff too! This weekend is tackling some of the things we haven't had time to finish in the house. I woke up with a temp of 101.6, so I guess this weekend is going to be for rest. What are your plans for this weekend?

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your  shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

Other updates:

I finished 3 books this week. One was an audiobook that I had been listening to for a while. I am still reading Christmas books, anyone else? I thought I would have moved on by now. With my audiobooks, I have, just not my Kindle books. Maybe this week will be the week I dive back into regular books 😂

  2. I hope that you get well soon. I still have a Christmas themed book, but I won't have time to read it any time soon!

I hope that the rest of the move/settling in goes well.

  5. Sorry you're not feeling well! I hope it passes quickly. My weekend plans are just trying to catch up on all the stuff I didn't do during the week. And also finishing Everything's Coming Up Rosie. What a cute book! Feel better. :D

  6. I hope you feel better soon! I just finished listening to a Christmas cozy today, but I think I'm done with Christmas books for now. Not so much in the movie department, though. Lol. I enjoyed Atomic Habits when I listened to it a couple years ago. It's probably one I could benefit from listening to again. Have a great weekend! :)

  9. I'm so sorry to hear you're sick! I hope you feel better soon. I have managed to finish four books already in January, and I'm planning out all of my challenges now, so I feel much more prepared to meet my reading goals 2026!

    1. Karis, yay for a strong start to the year!! And, yay for organization to help achieve your reading goals. I am not doing any reading challenges, with the exception of 200 books for Goodreads.

  10. Rest well! Always better to start out with rest to recover sooner than push yourself when not well.

  11. I am glad you are starting to get settled in your rent house. So sorry you are sick. Ugh.

At least you have a lot of good books to read while you heal.

  12. I hope you are feeling better soon. You got a lot of good books at the library. Some of them are on my TBR. I'm not reading any Christmas books. I didn't read as many as I would have liked this holiday season. Maybe this year will put me in a better place around the holidays. Happy reading!
