Top Ten Tuesday- Ordinal Numbers

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic isBook Titles Featuring Ordinal Numbers (Ordinal numbers are numbers that define an item’s place in a series. For example: first, second, third, fourth, tenth, fourteenth, thirty-third, one hundredth, etc.) (submitted by Joanne @ Portobello Book Blog). I am sure I can find something to fit today's prompt, let's see what we have! (Not much as it turns out, will be short and sweet) Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Top Ten Tuesday-Ordinal Numbers (click on the image if you want to be taken to my review)

Third Time's a Charm by Virginia Smith
The First Taste by Annah Conwell
First Love, Second Draft by Becca Kinzer
The Second Story Bookshop by Denise Hunter

Apparently I don't read a lot of books with ordinal numbers. I do have more on my TBR, but I didn't want to share books that might be potential duds!
What topic did you go with this week? I would love for you to share in the comments. To see what other topics our bookish friends are doing this week click on the image below.

  1. I have visited a two-story bookshop on occasion. They’re amazing.

(Or maybe that title means that the bookshop is on the second story and some other business is on the first?)

    1. Lydia, no, you had it right. There is a bookstore that is multi-levels and takes up an entire city block in Columbus, it is so neat! I love big bookstores (although they can be overwhelming)!

  4. Nice list, Cindy. I don't read a lot of them either, but it was such a fun topic. The Second Story Bookshop made more than one list today. Thanks for sharing and for visiting my blog.

  5. I missed Denise's! This week I did use some books I don't own, which would apply to this one by Denise, but I do like to know something about the books and having read SO many by her in the past, The Second Story Bookshop would have been a great one to feature. :) Thanks for visiting my list today.

  6. This was a hard topic to do. The books you listed look like good ones.

  7. I also did not have very many books with ordinal numbers, so I did all numbers to get me to 10

    Here's my TTT: https://readintowonderland.blogspot.com/2026/03/t10t-book-titles-feature-numbers.html

  10. I made it to ten in the end, but it was definitely a tough one. I have to admit I'm always tempted by any book that promises me a bookshop... 👀

  12. I didn't even attempt this topic! Since I missed TTT last week, I just used last week's prompt. Much easier, LOL.

    Happy TTT!

  14. Good idea to keep your list short if you didn't read that many good ones. But thanks for doing it anyway.
