While Write for You is the fifth book in the City Love series, it can easily stand alone. I have not read any other books in the series and don't feel that I missed anything.

Hey bookish friends! I remember the days when I used to get this post typed up before Saturday, LOL! It is the middle of the day on Saturday and I am just now getting an opportunity to sit down and type this up. It was a long week with some hard things. However, it is the weekend and I am so thankful. My husband and I decided to go on a hike this morning and it was great just getting away from it all for a little bit. Later this afternoon we will celebrate my daughter's birthday (it was yesterday). Tomorrow will be church and a whole lot of relaxing. Are you doing anything fun this weekend?

I happened upon ADHD is Awesome at the library and grabbed it on a whim. I don't have ADHD but my daughter does. I wanted to understand more about ADHD so I could support her better, and know how to communicate better with her.

The Color of Home is Kit Tosello's debut novel. The cover and title represent the book well. I am struggling to put my thoughts into words, and my review will not capture all that is the essence of this story.

I am going thrifting with my daughter and husband this morning, then I plan to read, sew, crochet, and blog for the rest of the weekend.

The only books I have read by L.M. Montgomery are the Anne of Green Gables series. I enjoyed them as a child and have always wondered if I would enjoy them as an adult. I have had The Blue Castle on my shelf for a few years.
