Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! Today's Top Ten Tuesday
topic is most recent additions to my book collection. I have done this recently so will link them below. I think I will list ten books I would love to own as my topic for today. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today!
I have recently done two posts on what books I have added to my bookshelves. You can read post 1 here. Post 2 here.
So, here are 10 books I would love to own:
I have Shift on my TBR list and my word for the year is "focus," so I would love to read this one.
I absolutely LOVED the Holly series by C.C. Warren and would love to own it and read it again! An excellent suspense series!!!
Who hasn't read Book Love? If you have not, you are seriously missing out. All book lovers will enjoy this book and feel like it was written just for you. I would love to own my own copy.
Come Back to Me is not a book I would ever pick up and read but it got rave reviews last year and so I was curious. I devoured it and now I want to own it, LOL. I would like to read it again before reading the second book.
The second book of the Waters of Time series. I have not read it and have not been able to get my hands on it, but am planning to ask my library to get it so I can read it. If it's as good as I expect it to be it's another one that I want to own 😀
I am an introvert and when I saw this book I immediately wanted to read it. Books like this I like to make marks in as I read, so it's better to own it.
I think I now have all of Rachel Fordham's books, except this one, so I want to add it to my collection. I have not read it yet, but I anticipate liking it enough to want to own it.
I immediately added Coral to my TBR list when I heard about it. I think it's going to be fabulous and I want a copy of it.
I have not read Mimi Matthews but plan to this year. This book is on my TBR list.
I am sure I am not the only one who struggles with anxiety from time to time. I would love to have and read this one.
I love Verse Mapping and would love to own this journal to have a designated place for it. P.S. Don't tell anyone but this makes 11 😉
What
did you do for this week? What is a book you would like to own? To see

I actually haven't read BOOK LOVE. Can you believe it? I really need to since I absolutely love bookish cartoons and memes. They just make me feel SEEN, you know?
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
Susan, I am really surprised you have not read it, you MUST. This one will definitely make you feel seen!!!
DeleteFun twist on this week's TTT. Book Love is one I wouldn't mind owning either. I really loved that book. :D
ReplyDeleteLark, it's awesome, isn't it. My daughter does own it, so we have a copy in the house, but she won't live here forever, LOL.
DeleteGood idea to put up your wishlist. I love Book Love, of course, it*s just fantastic.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT this week.
Marianne, I do have an Amazon wishlist...most of these books are not on it, LOL. This was just books I thought about when I made this list...Have a great week.
DeleteThanks, Cindy. No matter where we have our wishlists, they seem to grow as fast as our TBR piles. LOL
DeleteBook Love looks very fun!
ReplyDeleteOh Lisa, it is a MUST read for every book lover!!!
DeleteGreat list! Book Love is one that I bought for myself after buying it on a whim as a present for someone else. I think it's a must have for every book lover's shelf!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my TTT earlier!
Nicole, I totally agree!! It's a fun one to revisit often.
DeleteCindy: Who hasn't read Book Love?
ReplyDeleteMe: *slowly raises hand* I really want to read it, though!
Thanks for visiting my Top Ten Tuesday list!
LOL, no judgement on those who haven't read it but it is such a great book and perfect for all book lovers :)
DeleteYes, Book love is great, and I would recommend even a better one in the same genre: I Will Judge You by Your Bookshelf, by Grant Snider
ReplyDeleteOh Emma, we will have to agree to disagree, LOL. I did enjoy I will Judge You by Your Bookshelf, but I enjoyed Book Love so much more!!
DeleteRereading the first book in the Waters of Time series is a good idea! I just read the second one and felt a little lost on some of the finer details about how the holy water worked. Such a unique and interesting series!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy Mimi Matthews a lot. I have a few of her books on my Kindle that I haven't had time to read yet, including The Lost Letter. Maybe this year for me, too! :-)
I need to request my library to get the second book, I haven't made time to do it yet. They have the first so it shouldn't be a problem. I have heard good things about Mimi Matthews so I do look forward to reading her :)
DeleteI haven't read Book Love -- but it definitely seems like a book that would be nice to own in hard copy. I feel similarly about Ann Bogel's "I'd Rather Be Reading" (still on my wishlist, alas).
ReplyDeleteI'd want to own the Waters of Time books just for their gorgeous covers, espcially the first one. (Probably I would also want to read them, but too overwhelmed by the pretty to focus on the summary yet.)
I have not read "I'd Rather be Reading" but it is on my TBR list and from the cover I can see how it would be fun to own :) The Waters of Time books are not my typical genres to read, but the first one was incredibly well written! And, yes, the covers are gorgeous and a preview of the things to come.
DeleteBook Love is definitely a keeper, and I Didn't Want to Come certainly promotes the idea that a bit of extroversion can be fun. Now I need to find out a little more about verse mapping!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Deb. I can be an extrovert at times, but I am very much an introvert!
DeleteI haven't read Book Love. My library doesn't have it. I should do a purchase suggestion. That introvert book looks good too!
ReplyDeleteKami, it is a great book to read. I need to do a purchase suggestion at my library for some books I am wanting to read as well. The introvert book is one I should request :) They do have Book Love.
DeleteI love the covers of Waters of Time series - I enjoyed both stories but book 1 a bit more!
ReplyDeleteSarita, that's good to know. I have heard other people say that book 2 was better :)
DeleteI haven't read Book Love, but I have heard wonderful things about it.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by this week.
Pam @ Read! Bake! Create!
Pam, it really is a MUST read for all book lovers. I hope you get a chance to read it at some point in time.
DeleteI like the sound of Prayers to Calm Your Anxious Heart _ I probably need that too!
ReplyDeleteJessica, we probably all do! This world is crazy and causes all kinds of anxiety!
DeleteHope you enjoy these! I haven't heard of them before.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
