Top Ten Tuesday-10 Books I Would Love to Own

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!!  Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is most recent additions to my book collection. I have done this recently so will link them below. I think I will list ten books I would love to own as my topic for today. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today!

I have recently done two posts on what books I have added to my bookshelves. You can read post 1 here. Post 2 here.

So, here are 10 books I would love to own:

I have Shift on my TBR list and my word for the year is "focus," so I would love to read this one.

I absolutely LOVED the Holly series by C.C. Warren and would love to own it and read it again! An excellent suspense series!!!

Who hasn't read Book Love? If you have not, you are seriously missing out. All book lovers will enjoy this book and feel like it was written just for you. I would love to own my own copy.

Come Back to Me is not a book I would ever pick up and read but it got rave reviews last year and so I was curious. I devoured it and now I want to own it, LOL. I would like to read it again before reading the second book.

The second book of the Waters of Time series. I have not read it and have not been able to get my hands on it, but am planning to ask my library to get it so I can read it. If it's as good as I expect it to be it's another one that I want to own 😀

I am an introvert and when I saw this book I immediately wanted to read it. Books like this I like to make marks in as I read, so it's better to own it.

I think I now have all of Rachel Fordham's books, except this one, so I want to add it to my collection. I have not read it yet, but I anticipate liking it enough to want to own it.

I immediately added Coral to my TBR list when I heard about it. I think it's going to be fabulous and I want a copy of it.

I have not read Mimi Matthews but plan to this year. This book is on my TBR list.

I am sure I am not the only one who struggles with anxiety from time to time. I would love to have and read this one.

I love Verse Mapping and would love to own this journal to have a designated place for it. P.S. Don't tell anyone but this makes 11 😉

What did you do for this week? What is a book you would like to own? To see what other topics our bookish friends are doing this week click on the image below.

  1. I actually haven't read BOOK LOVE. Can you believe it? I really need to since I absolutely love bookish cartoons and memes. They just make me feel SEEN, you know?

    Happy TTT!

    1. Lark, it's awesome, isn't it. My daughter does own it, so we have a copy in the house, but she won't live here forever, LOL.

    2. Thanks, Cindy. No matter where we have our wishlists, they seem to grow as fast as our TBR piles. LOL

  7. Yes, Book love is great, and I would recommend even a better one in the same genre: I Will Judge You by Your Bookshelf, by Grant Snider

  8. Rereading the first book in the Waters of Time series is a good idea! I just read the second one and felt a little lost on some of the finer details about how the holy water worked. Such a unique and interesting series!

I enjoy Mimi Matthews a lot. I have a few of her books on my Kindle that I haven't had time to read yet, including The Lost Letter. Maybe this year for me, too! :-)

    1. I need to request my library to get the second book, I haven't made time to do it yet. They have the first so it shouldn't be a problem. I have heard good things about Mimi Matthews so I do look forward to reading her :)

  9. I haven't read Book Love -- but it definitely seems like a book that would be nice to own in hard copy. I feel similarly about Ann Bogel's "I'd Rather Be Reading" (still on my wishlist, alas).

I'd want to own the Waters of Time books just for their gorgeous covers, espcially the first one. (Probably I would also want to read them, but too overwhelmed by the pretty to focus on the summary yet.)

    1. I have not read "I'd Rather be Reading" but it is on my TBR list and from the cover I can see how it would be fun to own :) The Waters of Time books are not my typical genres to read, but the first one was incredibly well written! And, yes, the covers are gorgeous and a preview of the things to come.

  10. Book Love is definitely a keeper, and I Didn't Want to Come certainly promotes the idea that a bit of extroversion can be fun. Now I need to find out a little more about verse mapping!
