Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is books with adjectives in the title. I went to my Goodreads list and started with those that have been on there the longest and picked them. However, looking at my list I should probably be bothered by how often "dead" was used 😂 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
11 books on my yet to be read, gonna read them someday list, that have adjectives in the title:
In case you were wondering, dead or deadly was used 23 times. It seemed like more than that 🤷
Have you read any of these? If so, what books should I move from "someday" to this year?
What did you do for this week? I would love for you to share in the comments. To see what other topics our bookish friends are doing this week click on the image below.
All new to me, but that's a good thing about TTT. Of course I am picking the one book above with dead in it, Dead End, to say it looks good to me :)
ReplyDeleteMia, LOL! Dead End is part of a really GOOD series. I'm not sure why I haven't read it yet...
DeleteHa ha. I love mysteries, so I'm sure "dead" shows up a lot in the books on my TBR list as well!
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
Susan, most likely, LOL!
DeleteHa! I love the dead and deadly showed up a lot. That is funny.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of these, sorry. I hope you enjoy them.
Thanks Kami!
DeleteThe Book of Lost Friends sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteLydia, I think so as well :)
DeleteThe Book of Lost Friends sure looks good. I like Lisa Wingate. Nice list, Cindy
ReplyDeleteThanks Wendy!
DeleteThe Lost Letter looks really interesting. Thanks for putting that one on my radar. :)
ReplyDeleteJenni, yay!
DeleteI think it's fascinating to see that "dead" or "deadly" was used so often.
ReplyDeleteDeb, I think authors might need to get more creative with their murder mystery titles, LOL.
DeleteDead can be a very good adjective and used in various ways. And it didn't lead you to a dead end, so all's good.
ReplyDeleteI don't any of your books, but a few grabs my attention.
Happy TTT and here's our: Ten Books to better describe your Wardrobe
Elza, yes, it can and is used in a variety of ways. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteGreat list! I haven't read any of these, but I hope you enjoy them when you get around to them.
ReplyDeleteThanks Leah!
DeleteHaha, funny that you had so many titles with "dead" in them. I haven't read any of these myself, but hope you'll enjoy all of them!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lindsey!
DeleteGreat TTT list! I haven't read any of them, but they all look like good books. So funny so many of them have dead or deadly in the title. :D
ReplyDeleteThanks Lark :)
DeleteSome lovely looking covers here!
ReplyDeleteThese were my most recently read books with adjectives - definitely a mixed bag!
Thanks Michael.
DeleteI have The Book of Lost Friends on my TBR as well. Maybe we'll both get to read it this year.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog earlier.

Pam, there is always hope!
DeleteI thought there were a lot of books with "dead" in the title! :) The eAson books look fun!
ReplyDeleteGreg, she is a good writer.
DeleteSo many of these covers call to me. The only one I've read is the Lisa Wingate book.
ReplyDeleteThanks Carla.
DeleteAnother fun TTT!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah!
DeleteI haven't read any of Lynette's more recent books but it seems like I did read the first in that series, and also, I read the Tulip books YEARS ago. They are so much fun. :) Thanks so much for visiting Finding Wonderland. As always.
ReplyDeleteI was excited to find the Tulip book last summer but haven't had time to read it. My library doesn't carry them and they are hard to find.
DeleteNice list. Sorry, I haven't read any, just admiring the covers!
ReplyDeleteEmma, that's okay! We can't read all the books :-)
