And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

You guys, a while back, Kimmie from travelerswife4life, offered to send me Undistracted by Bob Goff. I hemmed and hawed a little bit from this unexpected gift and felt bad about receiving it, so made sure she was sure about her offer, she was! I got the box on Monday with ALL of these lovely books (plus 2 not shown that I already had!). It was such a sweet gesture and totally made my week! Plus, Tuesday was my birthday, so it really did feel like an expected gift!

Other updates:
I finished 5 books this week (one was a children's book and one I had been reading for several weeks). I DNF one book. I still need to post two of my reviews.
I also did another post from our trip if you'd like to pop over and read about it and see the pictures.
A good load of books there. How lovely to be sent those.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a good birthday.
Have a great weekend!

DeleteA great haul of books! I love Janette Oke books and I wasn’t aware of this one. What a lovely gesture to be sent all those books. Have a wonderful week ahead. Here’s mine: https://www.thathappyreader.ca/stacking-the-shelves-15/. My Sunday post will be live tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteHey Jodie, I haven't read Janette Oke in years, but I want to get the first book and read these :) I have watched the series on TV and enjoyed it so I think I will love the books!
DeleteSafe travels this week! I think Crossfire looks pretty fun. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Greg!
DeleteWhat a nice bunch of books you got! I will have to look for Undistracted. I have liked Bob Goff's other books and that one sounds interesting. I am also intrigued by In Pieces - I have not heard of it, but looks interesting. Have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteGretchen, yes, I am loving Distracted, I definitely recommend it. I had never heard of In Pieces either, another new author for me to explore :) Have a great weekend!
DeleteWow, you did get a nice box of books. I hope you enjoy your travels later this week.
ReplyDeleteThanks Wendy, I am pretty excited!
Deletethat is a huge reading plan! I am unable to use Goodreads because it insists that a person be so organized and forward-looking. You certainly are that! Not me!
ReplyDeletebest... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Mae, you don't have to be organized to use Goodreads, ask my husband, LOL!
DeleteI understand about stacking your shelves with books! I've been adding ARCs from NetGalley and gotten approved for so many that I wonder if they realize I'm a slow reader, lol. Have a great reading week.
ReplyDeleteHarvee, I had to cut back because I felt like all I was doing was reviewing for Net Galley and I am a hard and fast rule follower, so deadlines, LOL. I love Net Galley, but we are on a small break, LOL!
DeleteWhat a lovely box of surprises you received! I've read a couple of Bob Goff books---Love Does and Everybody, Always---and I found both of them to be inspiring. I've just put in a request for the new Goff book. Thanks for sharing it with us.
ReplyDeleteI keep a list of books I want to read in a Google Doc, but I don't add them on Goodreads. I don't know why.
Deb, Goodreads is easiest for me...I used to have lists in multiple notebooks and stuff, so it was easier for me to consolidate to one spot! I am sure you will enjoy Undistracted as well, I hope you get it soon.
DeleteHappy Belated Birthday, Cindy. What a lovely surprise with that box of books. I hope you enjoy them all! Have a wonderful and blessed week.
ReplyDeleteThanks Carla!
DeleteHappy Belated Birthday! I think that a box of books is a perfect way to celebrate a birthday. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteCarole, me too :)
DeleteI hope you're going somewhere fun later this week! :D I hope you have a great week too!
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post
Thanks Jenni, going to my sister's house in TN! It will be fun.
DeleteI don't worry about how many books are on my tbr as long as I'm reading and keeping up on my ARCs. Happy reading!

Anne, I can understand that. Have a great week!

ReplyDeleteYvonne, thank you, you too!
DeleteHappy belated birthday! Another blogger reached out to me on my birthday and offered to send me an extra ARC she had for a book she knows I'm excited to read. Don't you love our thoughtful community?
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week!
Jen, yes I do!! I am constantly surprised by it, but I don't know why!
