It is hosted by Jana @ Reviews From the Stacks. Here is how she describes the meme: Spell the Month in Books is a linkup hosted on Reviews From the Stacks on the first Saturday of each month.
Spell the Month in Books is a pretty straightforward meme. On the first Saturday of each month I open up a thread welcoming participants to leave a comment with a link to their post, but you can join at any point during the month. Find book titles that start with each letter in the month’s name, make a list, share your list, and that’s it! At the end of each linkup post I share optional challenge themes for the next three months and a button that you can embed in your post if you want an easy way to point others here.
This month's theme is favorite authors!!
A-Authentically, Izzy by Pepper Basham
U-Unknown Threat by Lynn H. Blackburn
G-Gia and the Blast From the Past by Becky Doughty
U-Upping the Ante by Emma St. Clair
S-Specters in the Glass House by Jaime Jo Wright
T-Things We Didn't Say by Amy Lynn Green
Not only am I highlighting favorite authors, these books came from my favorites list.
There you have it, the month of August spelled with books I have read. Are you participating in this meme? If you decide to participate, let me know, and I will visit your post! Have a great week!
This is a fun meme! Wow, August is hard with two "u"s!
ReplyDeleteKaris, I actually had a lot of options for "u" since I had just read the entire series of the UNselected Journals of Emma M. Lion. But, since I had done so many posts on her books this past month, I showcased others here, LOL!
DeleteI participated in this one last year and it was a lot of fun. I never did the themes, my focus was on books from the TBR that I'd forgotten about that needed to be read. Also, so funny that I didn't know about Spectres in the Glass House until this morning when I decided to search the library catalog for an Jaime Jo Wright books I missed, and it was there. You using it is obviously confirmation that I will love it, since you're the one who introduced me to her!
ReplyDeleteSarah, LOL, I was the same, I didn't care so much about the themes. I participated in this one because I LOVE highlighting favorite books/authors. YAY, you are so right, you MUST read Spectres in the Glass House. Jaime also released a Love Inspired novel in July, called Cold Case, you might look into that one as well. She has a short story releasing this month in a thriller anthology called Secrets Along the Shores.
DeleteThis sounds like such a fun meme! Well done on your August books.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jodie!
DeleteYou found some great titles! I think August would be the hardest month to spell out.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lark!
