Top Ten Tuesday-When All You Want is Silence

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic isVillains (favorite, best, worst, lovable, creepiest, most evil, etc.). I'm sorry, but I don't read a lot of books with true villains, and the suspense with bad guys, I just don't remember enough details to do a list. So I am going to go a different route, going with books that have Silence in the cover-and they MIGHT have villains. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Top Ten Tuesday-When All You Want is Silence

Silenced by Dani Pettrey
Silence in the Dark by Patricia Bradley
Shattered Silence by Marta Perry
Dead Silence by Susan Sleeman
Relative Silence by Carrie Stuart Parks
Dead Silence by Robin Caroll
Beneath His Silence by Hannah Linder
These books might not be the kind of silence you want 😂 But today, it's what I have to give, LOL! All of these are on my TBR, but I haven't read them yet. What books would you add to my list?

Have you read any of these? I would love for you to share in the comments. To see what other topics our bookish friends are doing this week click on the image below.

  1. Sue Grafton used S in her ABC series for Silence.

  6. oh i love the Silence theme! One of my faves (besides the ones you've included - love them all) is Song of Silence by Cynthia Ruchti... no villains in that one but it's such a great book.

  7. Some of these are so familiar to me! I've read a few of the authors, and read Dani Pettrey's which in turn reminds me to read her more recent releases! :)

  10. Fun twist on this week's TTT. I don't really have favorite villains, so I didn't do this one at all. And who knew there were so many books with Silence in the title?

  11. Interesting how one word it used in so many titles.

  12. I would say the Carrie Stuart Parks and Dani Petry have some villains. I started a Carrie Stuart Parks and never finished it but I can not remember why! I think maybe it was just too dark for my life at the time but I remember what I did read being very well written!

  15. Nice topic! There do seem to be a lot of mystery/thriller books with "silence" or "silent" in them. I haven't read any of these, although I have a copy of RELATIVE SILENCE on my shelf. I'll get to it eventually, LOL.

    Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

    1. Susan, neither have I, but I will also get to these eventually :) I tend to read more suspense during the fall/winter months.

  16. I need to come up with some alternate prompts for myself for weeks when I don't want to do the main theme, hehe. I struggled with "villains". Good list!
