Stacking the Shelves #192 Sunday Post #189 Sunday Salon #183

Hey my bookish friends! How was your week? Mine was long. I am still completely wiped out. We had 5 showings between M-W, which contributed to the longer week. However, our house DID go under contract, BUT they have to sell their house first. So, my praying friends, please pray their house sells and they continue with the contract on our house. I don't know that I will handle it well if it falls through a third time. I am SO thankful it is the weekend!! We are mostly catching up on projects at home. I feel like I should start packing, but will hold off until their house goes under contract. I have already missed things that got packed up this summer.

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your  shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

Bought:

I preorder Jaime Jo Wright's book this past summer and it got lost in the mail, took a detour at our old house in NC and finally made it to me this week. Then, I splurged on Courtney Walsh's book that released this week. I sometimes treat myself when things are very hard.

Book Mail: Won in a giveaway!

Other updates:

I finished 4 books this week, three physical, one audio, and DNFd one. I am currently caught up on reviews.

Side note (not a political post!) we are praying for the government to come to a financial agreement and open back up. I don't know if anyone who reads my blog is affected by the shutdown (I hope not), but my husband works for the government and we are in the boat of working but not getting paid. We are doing alright, and hope that if you are affected, that you are as well. If you are a praying person, please pray for this to be resolved quickly. This is the longest they have ever been shutdown (previously 35 days).

My other blog if you are interested.
