Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Book Covers Featuring Cool/Pretty/Unique/etc. Typography (Typography is the art of arranging letters so they look visually appealing and more interesting than, for example, the body text of this blog post you’re reading now. I did a similar post to this a few years ago, so if you need inspiration on what I’m talking about click here to have a look.) Well, I think the last time this topic came up, I skipped it, so let's see what I can come up with today. I feel like, overall, authors are doing more with their fonts/styles than they used to, and there doesn't seem to be a standard font anymore. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
Top Ten Tuesday- Book Covers I own featuring interesting Typography

The Q has great typography.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lydia!
DeleteI like Targeted.
ReplyDeleteHere is our Top Ten Tuesday.
Thanks Astilbe!
DeleteI really like the typography on Lizzy & Jane! Super cute.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sammie!
DeleteI never knew what typography was til right this very minute!
ReplyDeleteLinda, I got schooled the last time we did this post, LOL!
DeleteQ really stands out doesn't it? Good choices.
ReplyDeleteThanks Anne!
DeleteI also love the font of Between You and Us.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your #TTT
Thanks Shelleyrae!
DeleteThese are great picks! I always love when they use two contrasting fonts for the title :)
ReplyDeleteLindsey, me too, so pretty!
DeleteNice choices!
ReplyDeleteThanks Gypsi!
DeleteNo one could resist trying to find out more about The Q. Mysterious!
ReplyDeleteDeb, right?! She's the author that wrote The Selected Journals of Emma M. Lion, I look forward to seeing what this one is about.
DeleteTypography is a really underrated design choice! I notice it most when debut self-pub authors are asking for feedback on covers they've designed, I think. We don't always notice the choices that are made when it comes to typography, but we definitely notice if it isn't quite right!
ReplyDeleteSo true!
DeleteBetween You and Us is such a great cover!
ReplyDeleteBree, I think so too, I really need to read it and see if the story matches the cover!
DeleteI like Manor for Sale, Baron Included. I seem to be drawn to contrasting font types.
ReplyDeleteErin, same!
DeleteWhile the cover of Q may be simple, it is still striking.

Pam, exactly! It seems to be making a statement.
DeleteGreat choices! Christy Barritt and Lynette Eason always have such cool covers. Happy Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteStephanie, I agree!
DeleteFun! The Q is perfect for this week's theme; and I love Lizzy & Jane. :D
ReplyDeleteLark, I need to read them both!
DeleteJoanna's and Katherine's are lovely and fun! I have Katherine's and feel like I should someday try another by Joanna (I read her debut novel) but it's another of those so-many-books, too-little-time situations. :) Thanks for visiting my list this week!
ReplyDeleteRissi, I get it. I was supposed to read Joanna's last year, and it is still hanging over my head (not as a review book, just it was one that I had put on my list to read last year).
DeleteI really like The Q and Lizzy & Jane! They're simple but really attracts my attention.
ReplyDeleteHaze, I agree!
DeleteThese are all great ones. Great choices.
ReplyDeleteThanks Tvonne!
DeleteSuch wonderful choices, Cindy. Lizzy & Jane and Finding Lady Enderly caught my eye. Thanks for sharing and for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteThanks Cheryl.
DeleteGreat choices! I agree, those titles with two very different fonts are eye-catching.
ReplyDeleteOlivia, aren't they fun?
DeleteOoh, yeah, good choices! Some really nice covers here.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nicky!
DeleteThose "Between" covers are both so beautiful! Nice picks.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
