TTT-the typography has it

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic isBook Covers Featuring Cool/Pretty/Unique/etc. Typography (Typography is the art of arranging letters so they look visually appealing and more interesting than, for example, the body text of this blog post you’re reading now. I did a similar post to this a few years ago, so if you need inspiration on what I’m talking about click here to have a look.) Well, I think the last time this topic came up, I skipped it, so let's see what I can come up with today. I feel like, overall, authors are doing more with their fonts/styles than they used to, and there doesn't seem to be a standard font anymore. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Top Ten Tuesday- Book Covers I own featuring interesting Typography

No Safe Haven by Kimberley Woodhouse-I love how the words take up the whole cover, and the pop of red.
Lizzy & Jane by Katherine Reay
The Q by Beth Brower-very simple cover, but very unique as well
Finding Lady Enderly by Joanna Davidson Politano-I love the contrast of the two fonts-in design and color.
Manor for Sale, Baron Included by Esther Hatch-the same as above, I like the contrast in the different fonts.
Targeted by Lynette Eason-I love that the title is coming out of the Target.
Between You and Us by Kendra Broekhuis-very pretty font.
Just the Nicest Person by Christy Barritt
Between the Sound and Sea by Amanda Cox
A Run at Love by Toni Shiloh

    1. Deb, right?! She's the author that wrote The Selected Journals of Emma M. Lion, I look forward to seeing what this one is about.

  7. Typography is a really underrated design choice! I notice it most when debut self-pub authors are asking for feedback on covers they've designed, I think. We don't always notice the choices that are made when it comes to typography, but we definitely notice if it isn't quite right!

  13. Joanna's and Katherine's are lovely and fun! I have Katherine's and feel like I should someday try another by Joanna (I read her debut novel) but it's another of those so-many-books, too-little-time situations. :) Thanks for visiting my list this week!

    1. Rissi, I get it. I was supposed to read Joanna's last year, and it is still hanging over my head (not as a review book, just it was one that I had put on my list to read last year).
