Stacking the Shelves #32, Sunday Post #29, Sunday Salon #24

Hey bookish friends! How are things going for you? We had a change of plans for this weekend, but I am planning to get quite a bit of reading done.

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

Other updates:

I added 8 books to my Goodreads shelf this week. I took several more off my list...progress is being made, LOL.

I finished 5 books this week. I still need to post the review for 2 of them.

I also shared about my one year blogiversary this week.

Another post on my family blog about Devil's Lake State park and The Lost Canyon Tours.

I am also linking up with the Sunday Post. The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. I will also be joining Deb at Readerbuzz for the Sunday Salon.

What books have you added to your physical or virtual bookshelves? I would love to hear from you. Click on the icons below to join in on the fun. Have a great weekend!

  1. Finishing five books in one week is so impressive! Kudos to you!

I haven't acquired many new books recently, but one that I picked up was a small story-book version of the poem "The Hill We Climb" by Amanda Gorman.

    1. Thanks Claire! I am trying not to acquire many new books, but trying to read what I have and from my backlist on Goodreads :)

  2. I agree with Claire (above) that reading 5 books in a week is a lot. But I guess if you read over 200 a year, it makes sense! I usually average more like 2-3/week but this one only finished one. Sometimes life is just busy. :) I'm not familiar with the Nancy Mehl series - I'll go take a look. Happy Reading this week.

    1. Terrie, I am a fast reader and currently don't work outside the home, so I do get a decent amount of time in to read :) Some weeks I only finish one or two...life does get busy! Thanks for stopping by.

  10. We started a home policy of "One Thing In, One Thing Out" a few years ago. It's hardest to do with books. It looks like you are doing that with Goodreads.

Congratulations on your one-year blogoversary, Cindy!

    1. Deb, I try to do that too! I have NOT done it with books, but need too!! I have been cleaning them out to give use for our Little Free Library, but we already have more books for that than space, so it's hard.
