Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday is most recent book additions. I do stacking the shelves every weekend, so I will do a different topic today. Today I will feature 10 books I meant to read in 2022 but didn't! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
My son got me this for Christmas, what books did you get for Christmas??:
Ten (12) books I meant to read in 2022:
I hope you get around to all of them in 2023. If you don't, I hope you are able to give them away to other readers. That's my usual strategy.
ReplyDeleteDeb, it's not a bad strategy. I am hoping/planning to read them in 2023, especially since some of them were/are for the Literary Escapes challenge I am not going to be able to finish so I am carrying it into next year.
DeleteI’ve heard good things about Dogwood!

Lydia, so have I and I have already planned it into a challenge for next year!
DeleteHope you'll get to all of these in 2023! :)
ReplyDeleteLindsey, me too!
DeleteI hope you'll get to them seeon.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lauren, me too!
DeleteI love Dear Mr. Knightley, and Number of Love was really good too, so I hope you can read them soon!
ReplyDeleteMy TTT this week is here :-)
I have heard good things about both...just ran out of time!
DeleteLots of good reads to get to in 2023! I actually didn't get a single book for Christmas. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteGretchen, sorry to hear that. I am looking forward to a fulfilling year of reading in 2023!
DeleteI hope you enjoy these when you get to them! I liked Crime & Poetry when I read it, but I've been meaning (and failing) to return to the series for a while now. Maybe in 2023?

Nicole, I understand. I bought it in June and meant to read it before now. I noticed my library has a few more in the series, so if I do enjoy it I know where I can get more!
DeleteI love the title of this post. I had some of those, too! I hope 2023 takes these off your TBR.
ReplyDeleteThanks Deanna, so do I, LOL!
DeleteThere's always next year! ;D These do all look good.
ReplyDeleteLark, exactly! Hoping to still squeeze one or two more in THIS year ;)!
DeleteLike you and most of us, there are lots of books I wanted to get to last year and have migrated to this year's reading list. Good Luck!

Terrie, so true! We always have the greatest of intentions though!
DeleteDEAR MR> KNIGHTLEY has been on my TBR for so long. Let's read it together, perhaps.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! My TTT post
Anne, not a bad idea! I was supposed to read it in June...
DeleteCrime and Poetry looks good, and enjoy Targeted! I got a romance novel called One Wore Blue from my daughter for Christmas this year. Happy holidays :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy One Wore Blue when you get a chance to read it!! Thanks for stopping by :)
DeleteLots to carryover into 2023 it looks like. Hope they end up being reads you really enjoy. :) Happy reading!!
ReplyDeleteRissi, true, although I started one of these already ;) AND, I am enjoying it!!
DeleteThat's awesome! We love getting in those final yearly reads, right!? :)
DeleteYes!
DeleteI hope you are able to read and enjoy these books in 2023!

Thanks Pam, me too!
DeleteI hope you enjoy all of these whenever you do read them-the great thing about books is that they don't have an expiration date!

So true!!!
DeleteI hope you're able to read all of these soon. I really enjoyed Crime and Poetry and A Hope Undaunted. I still need to read Beyond All Dreams. That's one of the few Elizabeth Camden books I haven't gotten around to yet.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ashley, I do plan to eventually get to them, LOL!
DeleteThis is a great pivot, Cindy! :D I could definitely fill up a few lists myself with this topic, lol. When you get to these, I hope you enjoy them!
ReplyDeleteMy TTT
Thanks Jenni, I am sure I have other books from previous years that probably should have been on this list too, LOL!
DeleteI doubt I could have restrained myself to ten books that I wanted to read and didn't get to, so well done, Cindy.
ReplyDeleteWell, these were needed for goals I was trying to finish, so it made it a little easier ;)
DeleteI know, if you've done it all year long, it is as good as ready. Still ...
DeleteI hope you manage to play catch up with the reading. I have about 40 books in my TBR pile at the moment.
ReplyDeleteAlexandra, it depends on how you define your TBR, I have about 200 books on my physical shelves that I have not read yet, over 600 on my Goodreads TRB list, and over 1000 on my Kindle...I may never catch up, although I do WANT to for the ones I own.
DeleteI hope you get to and enjoy all these books!
ReplyDeleteWendy, I am going to make myself read them in 2023, LOL! I am already reading one of them and hope to finish it before the end of the year!
DeleteThe good thing about being almost exclusively a mood reader is that I don't have to write posts like this! :-) Though I am going to be a bit short on one or two of my challenges for the first time ever? At least for the first time in a long time. I hope you enjoy these when you get to them!
ReplyDeleteJen, that's my thing, these were books I had planned for reading challenges!
DeleteCRIME AND POETRY is one I keep meaning to read and just haven't gotten around to yet. I bought the book, now I just need to read it...
ReplyDeleteHappy belated TTT!
Susan, SAME! I have had it since June!! I need to put it back on my TBR reading cart...although it sat there for months ignored as well, sigh.
DeleteDear Mr. Knightley was a cute feel-good read, I hope you enjoy it when you do get there.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile I really love the look of Smitten Book Club, Love Under Construction and With You I Am, adding them to my TBR.
Thanks, me too, LOL!
DeleteI hope you get to pick some of these up in 2023! So many books, so little time, right? 🥰
ReplyDeleteDebra, so true!!
