Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

I finished 2 books and DNFd one book this week. I am all the sudden wondering if I should have skipped this post this week, I literally have nothing of interest to say 😂
My other blog if you are interested.
What you might have missed on the blog this week:
Book Review: Spoke Too Soon by Dulcie Dameron
Top Ten Tuesday: 2026 Bookish Goals
Book Review: Sign Me Up by Duclie Dameron
Book Review: Where the Last Rose Blooms by Ashley Clark
I am also linking up with the Sunday Post. The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. I will also be joining Deb at Readerbuzz for the Sunday Salon.

Glad to hear this week was better! I was wondering how you were doing.
ReplyDeleteOof at the temperatures... keep warm!
Thanks Nicky!
DeleteI'm worried about my son who lives way out in the country and who is right in the path of all the cold. There are no alternatives to electric heat there, and it can take a long time to get the power restored.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are doing better this week, Cindy.
Thanks Deb, will be praying for your son's safety!
DeleteI’m happy to hear your BW was better. Stay safe Cindy.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jodie!
DeleteIt is definitely ALL about the weather today, lol. I’m in North Texas where apparently we are all about to starve to death 😂
ReplyDeleteEveryone stay warm and safe!
Shellie, LOL! Did you remember your bread and milk? If so, apparently you are golden, LOL! We are staying inside (except my husband who is currently out cleaning off the driveway).
DeleteRandom question…do you know if any blogs are still hosting Sample Saturday? I can’t seem to find one. Not that I can’t just do it but I wondered? Just asking the blog universe as you are always up on the latest:)
ReplyDeleteShellie, I have never heard of Sample Saturday, but I have only been blogging about 5 years. Maybe someone who has been around longer would know. I know First Line Friday is still alive and active.
DeleteKate still does it at booksaremyfavouriteandbest her latest is here https://booksaremyfavouriteandbest.com/2026/01/24/sample-saturday-three-via-rave-insta-reviews/
DeleteThanks for sharing, I will check it out. And, I am glad you found it :)
DeleteI'm glad you had a quieter week and the brunt of the storm will pass you by. Isn't it nice to have a quiet week? Take good care!
ReplyDeletePatricia, I am hoping for a quiet week, haven't had one in a while. I am enjoying a quiet weekend :)
DeleteI'm glad your bloodwork was better! My parents are in Texas and said they lost power all day today. We've just had really cold temperatures and some snow. It's been awhile since I've been in the negatives, but the snow hasn't been too bad yet. I hope you're staying warm and safe!
ReplyDeleteLindsi, the weather is weird for sure, you know it is when Texas gets snow. I hate that they lost power, will be praying it is restored soon. My plan is to stay in until at least Tuesday.
DeleteGlad to hear that this week and your bloodwork is better!
ReplyDeleteThanks Olivia!
DeleteThe snowstorm hit where I live last night, and we already have 4-5 inches of snow out there! I think we're supposed to get some ice later in the day, so I'm a little worried that we might lose power, but I did my best to prepare. I'm glad to hear your bloodwork was better!
ReplyDeleteKaris, I hope you all do not lose power. The majority of our snow is supposed to hit this afternoon, but I think we have close to a foot out there already. Stay warm and safe!
DeleteI am so glad to hear that your bloodwork was better!! We are at the beginning of the snowfall here, up to 9 inches for us. Stay warm, and enjoy your books!
ReplyDeleteThanks Erin, I will, you as well :)
DeleteSo grateful with you for better bloodwork, friend. May this cozy weekend indoors strengthen your body and encourage your soul. And yes, please, to more good reads.
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda!
DeleteGlad that you have had a better week. We keep getting threatened with snow, but we haven't had any yet. Literally the only place in the whole of the UK 😂 still I don't want it on the school run.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!

Emily, I don't mind it when I don't have to drive in it. But, driving in it, I can't stand it!
DeleteI hope you don't lose power and the weather is kind to you. I hate snow and thankfully live in a part of the world where we don't get much. Have a great week:)).
ReplyDeleteI really don't mind the snow, as long as I don't have to drive in it.
DeleteGlad you had a better week. My main concern is also the ice and potential power outages. We are getting a lot of sleet right now, which is better than freezing rain. And like your area, we are also very cold. It's supposed to stay below freezing for a while after the storm has passed. Wishing you a warm and cozy week! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Meezan!
DeleteI hope you don't have any power outages and can stay warm and safe. Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThanks Yvonne!
DeleteStay warm and safe this weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lark, are you all getting any of this storm?
DeleteBe safe! The power is our main concern. Fingers crossed for us all.
ReplyDeleteJen, I can understand that! Hopefully you all don't lose it.
DeleteYay for better bloodwork and a good week. I braved the cold and snow here today to go get steak for dinner :) We were going to go out, but hubs never made the reservation, so I decided to stay inside!
ReplyDeleteBecki, I had no desire to go out in this mess. I don't have all wheel drive and while the plows are out working, our roads are a mess.
DeleteYou had a busy blogging week. Is the weather bad where you are? Ohio, right?
ReplyDeleteMy heart is heavy this week: https://headfullofbooks.blogspot.com/2026/01/sunday-salon-minnesota.html
Anne, yes, Ohio, and the weather is cold and snowy. They are telling us not to get out and drive unless absolutely necessary.
DeleteWeather has been very chilly in Michigan where I am at. Hope you have a good week.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bree, I am in Ohio, so also very cold.
DeleteStay warm and safe!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a lovely reading week
Thanks Shelleyrae!
DeleteI am glad to not ever have to deal with snowstorms! We have our own issues with heat, but no snow here!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Marg, yes, it is different. We lived in Singapore for 3.5 years and I missed the cold and snow, but loved the all year round pool weather!
DeleteGlad you didn't get the ice. We ended up with 17 inches or so of snow. Still have flurries. When is spring coming? LOL! Enjoy your week, Cindy!

Cheryl, it is STILL snowing here, we do have over a foot, and the snow is light now. I am also glad we didn't get the ice. Have a great week!
DeleteI hope you're safe from the snow! We didn't get too much where I am, but it's extremely cold.
ReplyDeleteAj, it's still snowing here and bitterly cold, but the plows do a pretty good job and I was out and about today.
DeleteWe got 14 inches of snow. It was crazy and I'm hearing rumors of another big storm this weekend. I might cry if it happens.
ReplyDeleteLisa, we got right under that. I think the big storm for this weekend is mostly the coast (NC, SC), not sure where you live. But, I don't think it's going to affect us here in OH.
