still anxiously awaiting her to interrupt them for me. This Sunday is my birthday, so my daughter is here for the day. We are planning some family games and just hanging out, ordering dinner in. My boss gave me cash for my birthday and I spent a little time at Bath and Body Works yesterday, splurging! I will post a picture below of the candle I bought. If the weather cooperates (and the smoke from Canada clears) we will be out walking/hiking today and tomorrow morning.Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

Other updates:
I took back half of the books I got from the library last week unread. When I realized one was an amnesia trope I was done. I have already read two recently and would like a break, LOL! Two were just too heavy with everything I have going on and two heavier books this week (one still in progress). I *think* I might get books from my family this weekend, if so, I will let you know in my post next week, LOL! I finished four books this week and all the reviews are up. Here is the picture of the candle I bought yesterday.

What you might have missed on the blog this week:
Book Review: It's All Under Control by Jennifer Dukes Lee
Book Review: Oh, Say Can You See by J.P. Sterling
TTT: Books I Need to Read by New To Me Authors
Book Review: To Have and To Fold by Emma St. Clair
Book Review: The Bitter End Birding Society by Amanda Cox

Oh, I sympathize about the neurologist. My husband had to see one fairly recently and we went back for the results. After waiting over an hour he got up and said he was leaving and they could us with results AND he wanted his copay refunded. That was awesome to hear as i was waiting in the room when he stepped out, lol.
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday and I am glad you had some fun. Great candle.
Tina, that is awful. I hope he finally got his results. My birthday is tomorrow, thank you for the birthday wishes!
DeleteI have the same candle, but I haven't lit it yet.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure I will light it, LOL! It is more for decoration.
DeleteOof, sounds like the neurologist's office messed you around a bit. Hope that all gets sorted soon!
ReplyDeleteHope you have/had a good birthday!

DeleteI hope that you have a lovely birthday.
ReplyDeleteAppointments are a pain. There are just so many people that things get lost and the service isn't as it should be.
Have a lovely weekend!

DeleteHappy Happy birthday!! Eleanor is also a July baby and turned 13 on the 10th. Bath and Body Works is soooo dangerous - especially during the semi-annual sale.
