Being Untwisted

Title: Being Untwisted: Deciphering Christianity's Malignant, Evolving, Ulterior Purpose

Author: Mike Marty

Publisher: Michael Marty

Genre: Essays, Christian Nonfiction

My Review:

Mike Marty is the owner of the KLUV radio station. He reached out to me and requested I read his book. I like listening to the KLUV radio station so I decided to give it a try. (edited to add: when he wrote this book he was not aware of K-LOVE radio station).

Stacking the shelves #8/Sunday Post #5

Hey bookish friends! I hope your weekend is off to a great start. We got snow last night for the third weekend in a row. It was about 2 inches but didn't cover the road. It's cold and quite windy today, but that suits me just fine, I plan to stay inside 😁 What are your plans for the weekend?

My Review:

I love the cover of this book and its attention to detail. I enjoyed the mystery element as well. The story had a slow build and picked up quite a bit toward the middle.

Can't Wait Wednesday-Malicious Intent

Can't-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted at Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we're excited about that we have yet to read. Typically they are books that have not been released yet. This week I am sharing Malicious Intent by Lynn H. Blackburn. I LOVED the first book in the series, Unknown Threat and have been waiting for Malicious Intent since I finished the last page!!! Malicious Intent is the second book in the Defend and Protect series and is set to release March 1, 2022.

Another Gospel?

Title: Another Gospel? A Lifelong Christian Seeks Truth in Response to Progressive Christianity

Author: Alisa Childers

Publisher: Tyndale

Genre: Christian Nonfiction, Religion, Theology

Source: Library

My Review:

Alisa Childers is a wife, mom, blogger, author, and was a member of the band ZOEgirl. I read this book because Sarah Geringer put it on her best Christian books she read in 2021 list. It sounded interesting, so I thought, "why not?"
