Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is books with [__] on the cover. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do today's topic on. I started looking through the books I physically own and decided to feature couples. Out of 158 books only 13 had couples on them... and I'm not entirely sure one of them counts...I will let you decide 😂 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
Books I own that I still need to read with couples on them:
So tell me does this one below count??? 🤷😂😂
Sure it does!!I think its cute!!

Thanks, Joann!
DeleteThat is a very interesting choice. I absolutely love it. I think we could all come up with a couple of covers like that.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT this week has books with maps on the cover.
Marianne, I am intrigued and looking forward to seeing your list!
DeleteI'm looking forward to seeing your thoughts. I absolutely love maps.
DeleteYou can tell a lot about the story from the positioning of the couples on the cover!
ReplyDeleteDeb, I agree.
DeleteIt’s always cool to see couples on covers!
ReplyDeleteMy post: https://lydiaschoch.com/top-ten-tuesday-books-with-curly-haired-characters-on-the-cover/
Lydia, I agree, but it's not as common as just a woman by herself.
DeleteFirst of all, I'm impressed by your hundreds of print books in your home. I wish I had always saved my books but we moved a couple of times and I donated them instead of bringing them. And yes, dragging the husband off the page is still a couple, though maybe not a happily married one?
ReplyDeleteMia, should I clarify that these are only from the unread books in my house, LOL? We have 4 avid readers in our house, plus we are a homeschooling family, at last count we had 19 full bookcases (of varying sizes) in our house. We have moved (and gotten rid of a ton of books) over the years as well.
DeleteHa ha. It looks like the lady on that bottom cover is going to make sure they're a couple whether he likes it or not! A dysfunctional couple is still a couple :) I know tons of them myself...Fun topic!
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!

Thank you :)
DeleteThese are all so sweet looking! Except maybe that last one 😂 But it definitely counts!! Half his body is technically on the cover! 😂
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading! <3
Thanks Lin, we all need a laugh and I HAD to include that one ;)
DeleteHi Cindy! Okay, so which one doesn't fit?? I see couples in all of them??
ReplyDeleteWhen my shelves are one day finally finished and all packed, I might also start with using only books that I own...
Happy TTT!
Elza Reads
Elza, I was talking about Royally Rearranged because it is only the grooms leg, LOL.
DeleteHaha, I think the last one counts too ;) These are a lot of fun, I love the illustrated ones the most though.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lindsey!
DeleteA fun choice for today's topic! Yes, I think the last one counts, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lark :)
DeleteFantastic choice! I especially love the covers for Lost in Darkness and Arrives in Pieces. Those two draw me right in. :) Thanks for stopping by my blog.

DeleteFor sure! Your last one totally counts. ;) Feel like a lot of my shelf would be full of couple covers, but maybe I too would be surprised. Thanks so much for visiting Finding Wonderland, Cindy.

ReplyDeleteThanks Maya, I appreciate you stopping by!
DeleteFun idea! I'm surprised that there were only 13 books in your collection with couples. Wow! I kinda want to look through my books and see how many couples there are.
ReplyDeleteKami, I think it's because I focused on only the ones I have not read.
DeleteGood topic choice and picks!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jess!
