20 Books of Summer

It's no secret that I have been trying to whittle down my physical TBR shelves, as well as my Goodreads shelf (although I am continually adding to that one 😂). So, when I saw the 20 books of summer challenge, hosted by 746 Books, I started thinking about it. I kept hesitating because I have been trying to get a job and once that happens I know my reading time will be less. BUT, then I realized it starts June 1 and ends September 1 and I feel like no matter what, I *should* be able to read 20 books in that amount of time...especially since I currently read pretty close to 20 books a month.

The details are flexible...you can choose 10, 15, or 20 books for the summer, read AND review them.

If your goal gets overwhelming you can drop down the number of books you want to read.

You can plan your list in advance and change it if you need to.

That's pretty much it. You can head over to 746 Books to see all the details and see who is participating...and add your link if you want to join in the fun.

I am a planner so I will be planning out my 20 books based on my ARC's that need to be read, along with books on my physical shelf that I have been wanting to read forever and haven't gotten around to it.

Are you participating in this challenge? What books are you hoping to read this summer?

  3. I'm still working on my own summer reading list, but it keeps changing because I keep running across new books I want to read. The books on your list all look like good ones! I really want to read The Bodyguard, too, and The Littlest Library looks really cute. Happy reading! :D

    1. Lark, let's just say these were not the original books I started this list with, LOL. I also keep trying to figure out how to add more books in, send help, LOL!

  7. Good luck, Cindy! I absolutely love the cover of The Nature of Small Birds. I'm hoping to tackle at least 10 books for this challenge, but I'm aiming for 20. Happy reading!
