Hey my bookish friends! How was your week? I had Monday off of work since I was still sick, so I had a few extra days to rest this week. I spent the time reading, blogging, and taking naps. It was still a long week and I am still exhausted. We don't have any set plans for this weekend. I will be catching up on laundry, maybe some cleaning, and we might go for a hike.

The Letter From Briarton Park is my first introduction to Sarah E. Ladd's books. Jude Mason did a good job with the narration.

I don't know how we are already at the end of September! I didn't have as many 5-star reads this month, but I still read a lot of good books. My Review:

Izzy and Her Off-Limits Love is a quick visit back to the characters of Oakley Island. It's labeled as a Christmas romance, but very little of the story has to do with Christmas. It's a fun second-generation story.

One of the things I enjoy about Ginny L. Yttrup's stories is that they are all standalone novels. Convergence is a masterfully woven story that immediately sucked me in.
