We made it to Friday!! It has been a really long week around here. Any plans for the weekend? I am planning to rest a lot this weekend, not feeling the greatest today. We are supposed to get some winter weather on Sunday (let it snow!!) so we probably won't be going to church. I also plan to do quite a bit of reading and blogging. Welcome back to
First Line Friday hosted by Carrie
at Reading is My SuperPower!! I am also linking up with Gilion on Rose City Reader
for Book Beginnings. This is where you share the beginning of the book that you are reading. To join in the fun grab the book you are reading and
leave a comment with the first line (or your link). This week I am reading Deadly Target by Elizabeth Goddard. It is the second book in the Rocky Mountain Courage series.

Can't Wait Wednesday-Threads of Hope
Can't-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted at Wishful Endings,
to spotlight and discuss the books we're excited about that we have yet
to read. Typically they are books that have not been released yet. This week I am sharing Threads of Hope by Leslie Gould. It is the third book in the Plain Patterns series and releases February 1, 2022. I love Amish/Plain stories and I love the theme of hope.

I Will Judge You by Your Bookshelf
Author: Grant Snider
Publisher: Abrams ComicArts
Genre: Graphic Novel, Nonfiction, Humor
Source: Library
My Review:
I had not heard of Grant Snider before this book. Once I saw this cover I HAD to read this book. I love that it is a hardcover book and that it has that little square cut out where the guy's face is. It just adds to the fun.
Fresh Scars
Author: Donna Mumma
Publisher: Firefly Southern Fiction
Genre: Christian Fiction, Realistic Fiction, Suspense
My Review:
Fresh Scars is a debut novel by Donna Mumma. Fresh Scars draws you in from the first line and will keep you engaged until the last, in a sadistically twisted way. You don't want to know what happens but you need to know so you keep reading.
