I am also linking up with the Sunday Post. The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. I will also be joining Deb at Readerbuzz for the Sunday Salon.
We have been meaning to visit the Art Museum in Cleveland and must add the library to the sightseeing the next time round. Have fun at the vendor show. If we weren't so busy this weekend, we'd hop in the car and visit it too.
ReplyDeleteHarvee, being new to the Cleveland area there are SO many things I want to see :) The library is incredible and worth a visit, when you get an opportunity. I enjoyed the vendor event.
DeleteYou were busy, sending your daughter back to school. It really is hard every time when they leave home!
ReplyDeletebest… mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Mae, so true!
DeleteI was always sad when my daughter went back to school, but it sounds like you had a lovely visit. Have fun at the show today. What author are you planning to see? Off to check out your posts from this week. I subscribed to your blog, but don't get email reminders, so will have to make sure I visit more often Cindy. Have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteCarla, thanks for subscribing! Blogger no longer sends emails, they stopped about a year ago. I have thought about switching to a different blog site, but it overwhelms me. I saw Allison Pearl and will be blogging about it soon :) I usually have a post every day...
DeleteI missed my son when he would head back out. He went in the Army and it was so nice when he had leave time to visit.
ReplyDeleteTina, I know it's hard when they leave. My daughter is now only an hour and a half away, but it used to be almost 10 hours. I can't imagine how difficult the army is.
DeleteEnjoy your time at the Hop Into Spring Vendor Show. I can't wait to see which books you pick up and which authors you meet!
ReplyDeleteThanks Wendy!
DeleteEnjoy your weekend! :D
ReplyDeleteThanks Lark, you as well!
DeleteSounds like fun! And it is tough when they go back to school :(
ReplyDeleteHope you have a nice weekend
Thanks Greg. Yeah, it is!
DeleteJust one book in a whole week. I'm always amazed at people with that type of self-control! Have a great weekend. - Katie
ReplyDeleteMy STS if you care to visit - https://justanothergirlandherbooks.blogspot.com/2023/03/stack-shelves-11-march-2023.html
Katie, I still have a stack of books out from the library, so I am playing catch up...wait until next week, LOL!
DeleteYou did a great job this week---no books bought! I am always tempted by the Kindle books. I bet I buy one every week.
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard when they go back to school after a visit.
Deb, yes, it is. Time change doesn't help either, LOL, because it makes you tired and grumpy.
DeleteReading 4 books in a week is a busy reading week! I'm in the midst of a couple longer ones so it's going a little slower. It's true that as your kids get older and leave home there's a little hole for a while.....but it does get easier as they become more and more their own person. Just take all the hugs you can! :) Have a terrific week.
ReplyDeleteTerrie @ Bookshelf Journeys
Terrie, Yes, it is good to see them grow and develop into adults. I ALWAYS take all the hugs I can get, LOL!
DeleteI understand the feeling of your daughter returning to school! Looks like you had a great week. Enjoy the rest of your weekend Cindy.

DeleteLife's been really busy on my side as well, but you still manage way better than me with keeping up with blogging!
ReplyDeleteI've seen your Bookworm Tag and if I can squeeze it in this week, I will try to do it ! I love a book tag!
Have a lovely week Cindy!
