TODAY IS MY 5 YEAR BLOGGING ANNIVERSARY!!! How should I celebrate?? And, THANK YOU for supporting me over these last 5 years! Now, back to our regularly scheduled program...April's reading stats.
April's reading had a very rocky start, with my mom's passing and funeral, but I think I made up for it the last half of the month, LOL. I read 18 books and had no DNFs, although I did start a nonfiction that I owned, and decided not to read it...so an unofficial DNF. All four of the nonfiction books had been started before this month. Click on the cover of the book if you are interested in reading my review.

Overall, it was a pretty good reading month. I have requested some library books that will come in sometime in May, but I have no ARCs lined up, so I may still get more of my own books read.

Reading makes for a great escape and respite from life. I'm glad you found so many wonderful books to read last month. And Happy Blogiversary! 5 years is awesome. I hope you'll be around for many more. :D
ReplyDeleteLark, thank you!! I appreciate your support and blogging friendship.
DeleteHappy Blogaversary! I celebrated my fifth last November so we started about the same time. Thank you for your support and best wishes for many more years to come.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jodie! I appreciate your support as well :)
DeleteCongrats on your 5-year blogging anniversary! I'm glad you had a good reading month.
ReplyDeleteThanks Karis!
DeleteCongratulations on 5 years! You have a wonderful blog that I love to read and is inspiring. I’m in year 5 myself but I’ve been gone a lot. I finally had my surgery for Cushing Disease and it’s been a really brutal recovery. I’m very slowly rejoining the land of the living. I’ve missed the book world so much!! Good to be reading your posts again. π I hope you feel better this week too.
ReplyDeleteShellie, I am so sorry! Once upon a time I thought I had that (I do have a lot of the symptoms), but was never tested for it. I am going through the testing for POTS syndrome. I hope you are recovered soon! Thank you for your kind words, I appreciate you supporting my blog!
DeleteOh wow that’s tough πdon’t EVER stop advocating for yourself! Find doctors who will take you seriously. It takes a long time sometimes but you are worth it. That tiny 5mm tumor wreaked complete havoc on my body. I wish you so much luck in getting to the bottom of your health issues:)
DeleteThanks Shellie, it is a journey, one step at a time!
DeleteI forgot to say I’m so sorry to hear about your Mom. Prayers for comfort, I lost my Dad two years ago so I understand.
ReplyDeleteShellie, I am so sorry for your loss as well. I appreciate the prayers.
DeleteCongrats (albeit late!) on your blog milestone. That's awesome. And hope you found some comfort reads during your difficult month.
ReplyDeleteThanks Rissi!
