It's Monday! What are you reading? #8 '22

Happy Monday, my bookish friends. It's been a while since I have participated in this meme.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are planning to read over the week. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and add to your TBR pile! This meme is hosted by Kathryn at The Book Date. I am reading The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah. I read it back in 2018 and since it is my book club's pick for April I am rereading it.

Stacking the Shelves #18, Sunday Post #15, Sunday Salon #10

Hey bookish friends! How are things going for you? We just got back from a quick trip to West Virginia. Thursday was my son's 17th birthday so we took him to see his favorite comedian, Tim Hawkins, perform. (I will put a picture of him in this post, if you have never seen him or heard of him, look him up, he is so funny!) We had a blast but my body is demanding recovery (I have an Oura fitness ring that tells me when my body is stressed and I have  been at my lowest "readiness" level for a few days, so it tells me to rest and recover). Today my son is having a few friends over, followed by the family birthday party. What are your plans for the weekend?

Can't Wait Wednesday-Fatal Code

Can't-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted at Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we're excited about that we have yet to read. Typically they are books that have not been released yet. This week I am sharing Fatal Code by Natalie Walters. It is the second book in the SNAP Agency series and is set to release May 1, 2022. I really enjoyed Lights Out and can't wait to see the characters again...I really enjoyed Kekoa's humor so I am excited he has a starring role in this one!

Canyon Survival

Title: Canyon Survival

Author: Connie Queen

Publisher: Love Inspired Suspense

Genre: Suspense, Romance, Christian Fiction

Source: JustReads & Net Galley

My Review:

Canyon Survival is appropriately named, and the cover does the story justice. I love the cover and the story made me want to visit a canyon, just not under the circumstances the main characters find themselves in.

Top Ten Tuesday-Book Series I would love to catch up on

Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is a freebie. I am too tired to come up with an original idea so I decided to look over previous topics from before I had a blog. I landed on book series I would like to catch up on. One of my reading goals for this year was to finish book series I had already started and to make that list. Since I only put two series on that list, this will help me to at least make the list 😂  I will list the series and then put the books from that series I need to read to complete it. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
