First-Line Friday #55-Among the Innocent

Happy Friday, my bookish friends! Any plans for the weekend? I am planning to take it easy, still trying to recover from vacation. This is the first year in I can't remember when that we don't have plans for the 4th of July.

Welcome back to First Line Friday hosted by Carrie at Reading is My SuperPower!! I am also linking up with Gilion on Rose City Reader for Book Beginnings. This is where you share the beginning of the book that you are reading. To join in the fun grab the book you are reading and leave a comment with the first line (or your link).  This week I am reading Among the Innocent by Mary Alford.

Can't Wait Wednesday-Deception

Can't-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted at Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we're excited about that we have yet to read. Typically they are books that have not been released yet. This week I am sharing Deception by Patricia Bradley. It is the fourth book in the Natchez Trace Park Rangers series and is set to release on August 1, 2022.
