The Second Story Bookshop

Title: The Second Story Bookshop

Author: Denise Hunter

Narrator: Kim Churchill

Publisher: Thomas Nelson

Genre: Romance, Fiction

Source: Net Galley

My Review:

I enjoyed The Second Story Bookshop. It is a second-chance romance between Shelby and Gray. They both have dealt with trauma, and in Shelby's case, she is still holding a lot of resentment.

Stacking the Shelves #183 Sunday Post #180 Sunday Salon #174

Hey my bookish friends! How was your week? We did go for another long hike on Sunday, just not as long as the week before, but it was actually harder, LOL. We went to Cuyahoga Valley National Park again, but hiked a different area. I took pictures, so click on this link if you are interested in that. It was another long week, but we got great news this week. My 22 year-old nephew is now cancer free! Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes for him, they are were much appreciated. We don't really have plans this weekend, maybe another hike, some walking, I might clean out my car (it desperately needs it), but nothing firmly planned. Do you have any plans?

Summer Reading challenges wrap-up post 2025

In addition to the 20 Books of Summer Challenge and Big Book Challenge, two of my blogging friends made a summer bingo challenge. I wanted to support them, so I attempted to find books that fit in their categories as well. Even though these challenges run a few more days, I am not likely to squeeze anything else in, so I am posting a few days early.

My original post for the 20 Books of Summer Challenge and Big Book challenge is here.
