Can't Wait Wednesday-Counterfeit Love

Can't-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted at Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we're excited about that we have yet to read. Typically they are books that have not been released yet. This week I am sharing Counterfeit Love by Crystal Caudill. This debut novel is expected to release February 15, 2022. I am excited to read this one because it sounds so good and I love supporting new authors!

Top Ten Tuesday-2021 releases I still need to read

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! We had an ice storm come through on Sunday with a little bit of snow, so we were in Sunday and Monday (not complaining!). I enjoyed the time to read, blog, and spend with my family with very little distractions.Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is 2021 new releases that I was excited to get to, but didn't. At first I didn't think I would have that many, but looking back I actually had 32 books that I was really looking forward to and wanting to read. My Review:

Love and Other Mistakes is Jessica Kate's debut novel.It was published in 2019. The good thing is that it does not read like a debut novel.

My Review:

Ruth Soukup is a new author to me. I grabbed this book by the title and cover, not knowing what it was about. I think on some level, we all want to declutter our homes, minds and souls.

I had another surprising week of books coming in, so I thought I would share again this weekend 😀

My Review:

I have enjoyed Erin Bartels previous works. When I saw she had a new book coming out, I immediately requested it. However, this book should come with a trigger warning, especially for sensitive readers. This is a very heavy book dealing with sexual abuse.

We made it to Friday!! It has been a really long week around here. Any plans for the weekend? I am planning to rest a lot this weekend, not feeling the greatest today. We are supposed to get some winter weather on Sunday (let it snow!!) so we probably won't be going to church. I also plan to do quite a bit of reading and blogging.
