After over committing on reading challenges last year, I have scaled way back this year. This is just a small sampling of the vast amount of reading challenges out there! It seems like every other day I hear about more (yay!). I am looking forward to participating in these few challenges. Please click on the banner to be taken to the host for each challenge to see all the details and sign up (if interested).

I love reading Bloggin' 'bout Books (Susan's blog) and when I saw she was doing a challenge on BOOKISH BOOKS, yeah, I was pretty much there 😂 It is very low pressure,
you pick your level. I have a few bookish books on my TBR that I want
to get to this year, so this will help me be intentional with that goal.
I am going for the lowest level:
Toe in the door: 1-10 books
1. The Blackout Book Club by Amy Lynn Green
2. Of Literature & Lattes by Katherine Reay
3. Smitten Book Club by Colleen Coble and others
4. Book Love by Debbie Tung
Finally, I saw this one going around on Instagram. It's the backlist challenge to read 23 books in 2023. Since I was already planning to unofficially work on my backlog, I decided I could commit to 23 books.
These are the 23 I committed to:
- Dogwood ✅
- Echoes Among the Stones
- Miles From Nowhere
- Echoes of Titanic
- Buried
- The Cartographer's Secret
- Land of Silence
- The Woman in the Green Dress
- Tending Roses
- An Unlikely Amish Match
- Opening His Holiday Heart
- Dear Mr. Knightly
- A Hope Undaunted
- Smitten Book Club ✅
- Beyond All Dreams
- Love Under Construction
- Growing Strong✅
- More Than A Mom ✅
- Coming of Winter
- Seconds to Live
- The Lady and the Lionheart
- Shadows of the Past
- All my Belongs
Bonus (only counted if the 23 are done):
- No More Faking Fine by Esther Fleece
- With You I Am by Cleopatra Margot
- Thirty Days Hath by Chautona Havig (Kindle)
- Shift: Changing Our Focus to See the Presence of God by Abby McDonald
Are you joining in the challenge?! Do we have any books in common? I know I am not the only one who has bookshelves full of books that I need to read 😂
What challenges have you decided to do this year?
I’ve decided to add another 2023 challenge – one that you joined: Bookish Books Reading Challenge!
ReplyDeleteI so love Bookish Books. I’ve been looking for Christian reading challenges that focus on women of the Bible, to no avail. So, it’s become my own personal challenge.
Thank you for sharing!
Yay! That's awesome!! Yeah, I have never seen a Christian reading challenge that focus on women of the Bible, but I am glad you will still be doing it :)
DeleteThe Nerdy Bookworm 2023 Challenge is up now too :) Hope you participate again this year <3
