Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

That is some good walking you got in, I'm trying to get more walk time in too. So sorry to hear about that contract falling thorough. Will you keep it on the market or take a break and try again in a few months? Fingers crossed for you.
ReplyDeleteTina, we will keep it on the market. I am listening to audiobooks when I walk and it helps keep me going.
DeleteI bought Some Like it Scot, too. Such a fun romance. I'm sorry your contract fell through. Hopefully the showings this weekend go really well! And good luck with the packing.
ReplyDeleteLark, yay! I am already looking forward to reading it again. Have a great weekend.
DeleteI hope you get your house sold soon. I can't imaging how dissapointing it is when that happens!
ReplyDeleteThanks vicki!
DeleteHow disappointing that the offer on the house fell through. Let’s hope next time there are no subjects. Have a wonderful week ahead Cindy.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jodie!
DeleteSo sorry to hear that the offer fell through, but how wonderful that your daughter is back home so soon for a visit! Hope you have a relaxing rest of your weekend.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah!
DeleteJohnny Tremain was a book that I read as a kid, repeatedly, because I owned a copy. It gave me a good grounding in American history.
ReplyDeleteJoy, another lady in our book club read it as a child and loved it, so here we are.
DeleteI’m so sorry your house deal fell through.
ReplyDeleteThanks Olivia!
DeleteI love browsing in B and N bookstore and trying hard not to buy too many books! Enjoy your new purchases.
ReplyDeleteThanks Harvee!
DeleteAh, always fun to find books you love and want to keep around! 🥰 They look fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks Nicky, they are, and they are brightening my days by just looking at them, LOL!
DeleteSome Like it Scot looks cute!!
ReplyDeleteI am sorry to hear that your house deal didn't work out. :(
Thanks Erin. I loved it!!
DeleteA good load of books. Sorry that the house fell through. The house buying process is so stressful!

DeleteI’m sure you enjoyed your walk so much! Prayers up for the sale of your home! You have a great variety of books going on! Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThanks Patricia!
DeleteI'm sorry about the house. I hope things turn around for you soon and you sell your house. I know what an anxious time this can be for you. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteThanks Yvonne!
DeleteI just finished First Love, Second Draft yesterday! Very cute and fun :)
ReplyDeleteKaris, I am glad you enjoyed it as well!
DeleteJohnny Tremain is a book I've long thought I SHOULD read yet I keep overlooking. What do you think of it?
ReplyDeleteAnne, I haven't read it, nor do I really want to. We will be discussing it at our book club meeting next Thursday night. I will start it this weekend.
DeleteBummer about that house. That is discouraging, but it means God has something better waiting for you. A B&N trip sounds lovely. Enjoy your books this week.

Cheryl, I agree! Thanks.
DeleteGreat job on the walking! I'm also working on being more consistent with movement. Sorry to hear about the contract falling through, I hope you get a great offer really soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks Haze! Yes, I saw that you were running, good for you!!
DeleteI remember reading Johnny Tremain for the first time when my son in sixth grade recommended it. We used to show the movie to our fifth graders long ago.
ReplyDeleteDeb, I have never read it, but will be soon.
DeleteSelling a house and moving is so stressful! You seem to be holding up pretty well. And I'll take any excuse to hang out at Barnes & Noble ;)
ReplyDeleteBecki, so will I, LOL!
DeleteI had gotten into a walking routing but then my sister visited and that threw me off and now we've got wildfires in the area and I don't want to walk with the smoky smell (It's luckily only been truly bad one day, but any excuse for staying inside and reading will do, right?) Good luck with your house!
