Title: A Most Peculiar Circumstance (Audio)

Series: Ladies of Distinction #2

Author: Jen Turano

Narrator: Justine Eyre

Publisher: Tantor Audio

Genre: Historical Fiction, Christian Fiction, Humor

My review:

While A Most Peculiar Circumstance can be read as a stand-alone novel, I highly recommend reading Turano's first book in the series, A Change of Fortune. Most of the characters in this book were introduced in the first book.

Can't Wait Wednesday- Much Ado About a Latte

Can't-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted at Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we're excited about that we have yet to read. Typically they are books that have not been released yet. This week I am sharing Much Ado About a Latte by Kathleen Fuller. It releases January 4, 2022.

Top Ten Tuesday-New Authors

Happy Tuesday, friends! The theme for today's top ten Tuesday is if you like this then I recommend that. This was another hard one for me to wrap my head around, I just don't have the mental capacity for it. So, I decided to do a twist on it. So far this year I have read 132 new to me authors! I can barely wrap my head around that amount, but I was working on a reading challenge and it introduced me to new authors. So, I am going to try to narrow that down to the top 10 that I loved and can't wait to read more from/catch up on their backlist. Hopefully this will introduce you to a new author as well. To find out what our other bookish frJo are doing for Top Ten Tuesday check out That Artsy Reader Girl.

It's Monday! What are you reading? #7

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are planning to read over the week. It’s a great post to organize yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and add to your TBR pile! This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date.

Sunday Spotlight #6-A Jar Full of Light

Happy Sunday, friends! A few weeks ago I started doing a "Sunday Spotlight" where I highlight a book/author that deserves more love!  I take a book that I have read and enjoyed that has less than 100 reviews on Goodreads and give it some extra love by drawing it to your attention! Maybe someday I will host a link party (if I can figure it out) to make it easier to participate.

Please Don't Tell Cooper That Jack is a Rabbit

Title: Please Don't Tell Cooper That Jack is a Rabbit

Series: Cooper the Dog #2

Author: Michelle Lander Feinberg

Publisher: SDP Publishing

Genre: Children's fiction

Source: Reedsy Discovery

My Review:

Please Don’t Tell Cooper That Jack is a Rabbit is written by Michelle Lander Feinberg and illustrated by Anna Mosca. This is the second book that this dynamic team has produced. I love that the illustrator remained the same, keeping continuity between the stories.
