Elon Musk

Title: Elon Musk

Author: Walter Isaacson

Publisher: Simon and Schuster

Genre: Biography, Nonfiction,

Source: Front Gate Media

My Review:

I knew very little about Elon Musk before reading Elon Musk by Walter Isaacson. I knew he had worked with Tesla and took over Twitter, and I can't say I knew much more than that.

Stacking the Shelves #160, Sunday Post #157, Sunday Salon #151

Hey my bookish friends! How was your week? It was another WEEK around here. Time change made the week feel longer, we had multiple extra appointments, quite a few of our classes got canceled for sickness, we found out my mom's cancer is back, she will go on Monday to see what they are going to do about it, and I am beyond exhausted.

My Review:

Delighting in Jesus is the first book I have read by Asheritah Ciuciu, but it will not be my last. It is one of those books that touches you so profoundly that it is hard to find the right words to write a review, but I am going to do my best.

Top Ten Tuesday-Marriage of Convenience

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Books that Include/Feature [insert your favorite theme or plot device here] (for example: unreliable narrators, coming of age, darkness vs. light, time travel, metafiction, a specific romantic trope, good vs. evil. cliffhangers, flashbacks, plot twists, red herrings, loose ends, stories within stories, meet cutes, symbolism, etc.) (submitted by Alice @ The Wallflower Digest) I really enjoy the Marriage of Convenience trope, so that is what I am going to share about today. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Abridged Classics

Title: Abridged Classics: Brief Summaries of Books You Were Supposed to Read but Probably Didn’t

Author: John Atkinson

Publisher: Harper

Genre: Graphic Novel, Humor, Nonfiction, Books about Books

Source: Library

My Review:

Abridged Classics: Brief Summaries of Books You Were Supposed to Read but Probably Didn’t is not a book I would typically read. However, upon seeing the title, I thought this would be a book about classics I could actually read. I was right.
