Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is bookish merchandise I would like to own. I have bought quite a few books recently, and got bookish merch for Christmas, so honestly, I am not feeling this topic at all. I think today I would rather share my "top" books of 2022 (so far). Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
So far in 2022 I have read 73 books. Here are my 5-star books for the first quarter of the year:

Christians looks like a good one- I've read some articles online and blog posts by Stetzer. These all look wonderful. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Greg, I enjoyed them :)
DeleteThese sound like some great reads! I especially want to check out Flights of Fancy and Counterfeit Love. Thank you for the recs! :)
ReplyDeletePriyanka, Jen Turano is hilarious! I love her books!
DeleteI have read and enjoyed a couple of these as well as read some books by Jen Turano but there are some interesting ones to check out here.
ReplyDeleteCarla, I feel like you can't go wrong with a Turano book :)
DeleteI love this topic. The Buy-In looks like a fun book!
ReplyDeleteLindsey, it was! Especially if you like rom-coms, it was great!
DeleteI don't blame you for changing the prompt this week. Sometimes, you just don't feel the prompt. The Buy-In looks really cute and I've heard great things about Kristin Hannah. I'm glad you loved all of these. Thank you for stopping by my blog.
ReplyDeleteJenni, I loved the Buy-In! So funny!
DeleteNice books! I read The Great Alone. If I went just by the cover (and I have been known to do that) I love In Search of a Prince. Thanks for sharing this.
ReplyDeleteMia, I have also gotten books just because of the cover ;) Sometimes it works well :)
Deletelooks like you've had a great year so far!

Pam, I have read some good ones :)
Delete73 books so far? I'm just hoping to read 12! Although I may add The Great Alone to my TBR list.
ReplyDeleteKeep going!
@GetLostInLit
I am a quick reader, don't have a full-time job, and listening to audio books has increased my numbers ;) Plus, I really do LOVE to read and choose it over other activities (I don't watch much tv/movies).
DeleteLooks like some great reads! I've only read THE GREAT ALONE, which I also really liked. COUNTERFEIT LOVE is one I really want to read.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
Susan, it was so good and I hope you can get a copy and read it!
DeleteI have read and enjoyed several of these, all for very different reasons, too.
ReplyDeleteThe ones I h🙂aven't read look interesting. Thanks for sharing your list.
Blessings~
Thanks for stopping by, Robbye :)
DeleteThe Great Alone is such a disturbing book by Hannah does a great job seeing into the devils within.
ReplyDeleteAnne, I agree. It should have been a really heavy read but was more interesting.
DeleteThat's a good twist on the topic. You are right, we all have plenty of the stuff, that's why I posted about the bookish merchandise I already own.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my TTT this week.
Marianne, I was lazy and didn't want to think too much about what I already owned, LOL, I knew I would miss something.
DeleteWe all have those weeks, or the topics that don't speak to us. Your posts are always interesting. Thanks, Cindy.
DeleteAw, thanks so much, Marianne! That totally made my day!!!
DeleteMy pleasure.
DeleteI forget you can go rogue with TTT. I should do that more often. Looks like you read a lot of good stuff so far!
ReplyDeleteKami, I used to do every prompt just the way it was when I started blogging but sometimes I really can't make myself do it, LOL.
DeleteCongrats on 73 books so far! That's outstanding! The Great Alone is on my tbr so I'm happy to see you enjoyed it! :)
ReplyDeleteDebra, it is good, a bit heavy due to the content, but incredibly well done.
DeleteStoring up trouble sure sounds good! And I have The Great Alone, but need to find time to read it!
ReplyDeleteWendy, I understand! I am making time this summer to read more of my physical shelves.
DeleteYou're on a roll with the 5 star reads, hope the rest of your year is just as good!
ReplyDeleteThanks Matt!
DeleteWow! You have impressive 2022 stats so far. I'm just over here having not finished a single book yet. Someday. ;)
ReplyDeleteRissi, no judgment or comparison, our plates/obligations are different. I have a decent amount of free time and am spending a LOT of time in the car, so listening to audio books has really helped my stats.Yes, someday you will finish a book again!
DeleteThe Great Alone is the only one from your list that I've read but I loved it too. The story itself and the way Alaska is portrayed just blew me away.
ReplyDeleteSuzanne, totally agree!
