Top Ten Tuesday-2024 Releases I was excited about but...

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: 2024 Releases I Was Excited to Read but Still Haven’t Gotten To (will you be prioritizing these this year?) This should be interesting. I don't remember release years but Goodreads should be able to help a girl out. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

2024 New Releases I OWN that I was excited to read and still haven't (in my defense, your honor, I got several of these in Nov/Dec):

The Tangled Tale of the Woolgathering Castoffs. I bought this one after finishing the first book, and still haven't read it, although it is on my "Must" read list for this year.

Between the Sound and Sea, I won this one in November at JustReads Rendevous.
A Run at Love by Toni Shiloh-I won this one in a giveway, I just don't remember which month.
Drive You Crazy by Jessica Kate-my son bought this one for my birthday in July.
For Butter or Worse by Dana LeCheminant-my son got me this one for Christmas
Fiancé Finale by Angela Ruth Strong-I bought this one at JustReads Rendevous in November so I could get it signed.
Frankly, My Dear Clara by Kristi Ann Hunter-also bought in November at the JustReads Rendevous. It had just released or was getting ready to release and I was thrilled to get my hands on a copy.
A few more I was excited to read that I don't own but again, still haven't (so many books, so little time!):

Target Acquired by Lynette Eason-I recently won the book right after this one and the 4th is coming out in August, so I hope to read all three of these this year.

The Road Before Us by Janine Rosche-my family drove and toured parts of Route 66 a few summers ago, and when I saw this one come out, I immediately wanted to read it.

Hope Like Wildflowers by Pepper Basham, I love her books and still want to read this one.

Cornered by Lynette Eason, Lynn Blackburn and Natalie Walters-I love all three of these authors, but I haven't read the book before this one that they authored and I don't know if they go together, so I was waiting to read that one before this one.

Over the Edge by Irene Hannon-she is usually an auto-read author, I just didn't get time last year.

But He's My Roommate by Annah Conwell, I loved this whole series, but I had listened to them on audiobook and this one wasn't available when I was bingeing them, and I didn't have time to read it. I have had it checked out on Kindle Unlimited since Dec. 26th. It is high on my list for this year.

And, yes, I would LOVE to read ALL of these this year!! Will I, probably not. Why, because there are SO many books I want to read 😂

What topic did you go with this week? I would love for you to share in the comments. To see what other topics our bookish friends are doing this week click on the image below.

  4. I didn't do this TTT, but I do have two dozen or so (or maybe even more, I haven't counted them recently) books sitting on my shelves that I bought months or years ago that I still haven't read. Oops. ;D

    1. Lark, we are not talking about all the books on our shelves from years ago, LOL! That number is too high to talk about. WE are only talking about 2024 ;)

  8. Those all look good. My big problem is that all my 2024 books look good, but now we're in 2025 and I know more good books will be released and added to my TBR. I do hope you get to at least read a few, if not all that you want to. Enjoy!

  10. We will do our best to read our lists this year--but I'm with you, it probably won't happen. LOL This is a great list, Cindy. I see a few romances I need to add to my wish list. I hope you do enjoy them when you read them!

  11. Not to mention all the great books that will come out this year, in addition to the ones that we didn't get to the year before!!

  12. I used to bring home (literally) hundreds of free ARCs from library conferences. But, after a while, it became a little overwhelming. The last time I went, I just brought home an armload. Last year I didn't go. It's hard to keep up with latest and greatest!

  13. I love that you have so many romance titles on your list! I've been feeling a bit burnt out with reading some heavy books recently and I think I'd love to just binge on romance for a while. Adding these to my tbr!
