My Review:
While scientist-type stuff is not usually my jam, I really enjoyed Fatal Code, the second book in the SNAP Agency series by Natalie Walters. You will want to read the first book before diving into this one.
Happy Friday, my bookish friends! Any plans for the weekend? Today is my husband's birthday and we are supposed to be headed to his parents lake house this evening. Tomorrow our youth will join us for a day on the lake. I am going to the doctor this morning and that will finalize my plans for the weekend 🙄
Welcome back to First Line Friday hosted by Carrie at Reading is My SuperPower!! I am also linking up with Gilion on Rose City Reader for Book Beginnings. This is where you share the beginning of the book that you are reading. To join in the fun grab the book you are reading and leave a comment with the first line (or your link). This week I am reading New Wine Transporation Company: A Springville Story by Heather Norman Smith.

My Review:
This is the second book in the Regency Wallflowers series. I thought I had read the first book, but I have not. It did not hinder my enjoyment of this book, nor, to my knowledge, did I miss anything by not starting with the first book.
Happy June, my bookish friends!!! I can't believe the year is half over! How was your reading this month? I had a lower reading month than usual, but most of what I read was good.
I read 14 books this month and will dnf 1. Click on the cover of the book if you want to read my review of the book. The review for The Songs That Could Have Been is for a blog tour and will be posted mid-June.

Can't-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted at Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we're excited about that we have yet to read. Typically they are books that have not been released yet. This week I am sharing Critical Alliance by Elizabeth Goddard. It is the third book in the Rocky Mountain Courage series. It will be released July 1, 2022.
