Top Ten Tuesday- Favorites from 2024

Happy Tuesday and Happy New Year my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is : Best Books I Read in 2024. The hardest part about today's topic is going to be narrowing it down. I had 55 books that I marked as a favorite in 2024 (and that's assuming I didn't miss any)! Let's be honest, I am not going to try to get it to 10, but will *try* to keep it around 20. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Merry Christmas

 Merry Christmas my bookish friends!

I am going to take a small break for a week or so I think. I might still post reviews, and I think I will be posting next week's Top Ten Tuesday post, but I won't be visiting other blogs this week. It has been an incredibly hard year and a half and I am completely wiped out. I had planned two weeks to rest and recuperate, but ended up having to work three days this week (Mon, Tues, and tomorrow). We are heading to TN on Saturday and will be gone 5ish days, then back a few days before work starts back up. HOPEFULLY I will be rested 😁 The point to all that, is that I am dropping everything that is not necessary for a few days, LOL!

I appreciate each one of you who takes time to visit my blog, whether you comment or not. I am thankful for this community of bloggers and hope you all have a great rest of this year!

Blessings,

Cindy

Top Ten Tuesday-Dear Santa, I Want Them All

Happy Tuesday and MERRY CHRISTMAS my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is : Books I Hope Santa Brings/Bookish Wishes (List the top 10 books you’d love to own and include a link to your wishlist so that people can grant your wishes. Make sure you link your wishlist to your mailing address or include the email address associated with your e-reader in the list description so people know how to get the book to you. After you post, jump around the Linky and grant a wish or two if you’d like. Please don’t feel obligated to send anything to anyone!)

I thought about skipping this one, but I love seeing people's wishlists (don't we all!) and I hope to grant a few wishes today. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Top Ten Tuesday-Dear Santa, I Want Them All

I love Daddy-Long-Legs by Jean Webster. I first read it on Kindle and LOVED the illustrations. I bought a copy for my keeper shelf and it didn't have illustrations!!! So, now I have one on my wishlist.

Stacking the Shelves #149, Sunday Post #146, Sunday Salon #140

Hey bookish friends! It was a long, hard week. I worked most of today, and have a few things I will need to do tomorrow, so not quite as relaxing as I would like. My son and I both had doctors appointments this week and are impatiently waiting for them to review the results of our bloodwork, and next steps. We both have stuff going on, but they are different things. I can't believe that Christmas is on Wednesday! Are you ready? I am close, but not quite. I am behind on everything (including blogging) right now.
