Hey, my bookish friends!!  How are you all doing? This week was chaos! I am day 6 of a vertigo flare-up. I was given drugs that is supposed to take the dizziness away, and has not. I also found out my work schedule is changing, but I don't know yet, if I will get to keep the third day or not, and it is changing on Monday.

April Reading Wrap Up 2026

TODAY IS MY 5 YEAR BLOGGING ANNIVERSARY!!! How should I celebrate?? And, THANK YOU for supporting me over these last 5 years! Now, back to our regularly scheduled program...April's reading stats.

April's reading had a very rocky start, with my mom's passing and funeral, but I think I made up for it the last half of the month, LOL. I read 18 books and had no DNFs, although I did start a nonfiction that I owned, and decided not to read it...so an unofficial DNF. I can't believe this is the first book I have read by Megan Walker. Her writing felt like an old friend. I was sure I had read something by her before. Well, now I have a new friend, and I will be reading whatever I can get my hands on by her!

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Freebie! I wasn't sure if I would be able to come up with a topic, but then I decided to talk about one of my reading goals for the year. So, I plan to read at least 50 of my owned books this year. As a secondary goal, I wanted to get my unread fiction books under 100. Well, with the few pre-orders I ordered this year (I think close to 10 total), and having won a few books...it has made the goal a little harder. So, in addition to reading from my own shelves, I am trying to read the pre-orders then they come in as well. (Spoiler alert, I am behind, LOL). What a powerful book. Think of the great revivals and the prayers that were prayed. Prayers by John and Charles Wesley, Charles and Susannah Spurgeon, George Müller, Amy Carmichael, D. L. Moody, and so many more spiritual giants. Then, imagine having those prayers in your hand. That is what this book comprises.
