Can't wait Wednesday-Somewhere Above it All

Can't-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted at Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we're excited about that we have yet to read. Typically they are books that have not been released yet. It's based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. This week I am sharing a book that is extra special to me. It is written by a friend I made years ago when we were both living in Singapore. Writing and getting a book published has been a dream of hers for quite a few years and I am excited to see her dream come true. This week I am thrilled to share Somewhere Above it All by Holli Fawcett Clayton, it is expected to release January 11, 2022. I can't wait to get my hands on it!!!

Happy Tuesday, friends! I am excited to be doing another link-up with top ten Tuesday. Today the topic is books on your fall TBR list. This is a very easy post for most of us since we all seem to have overflowing to be read piles. I have obligated myself for 40 reviews before the end of the year, so I will put the books that are due in the next month or so, including the one I am almost finished with.

It's Monday! What are you reading? #3

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are planning to read over the week. It’s a great post to organize yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and add to your TBR pile! This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date.

What I read last week:

Stacking the Shelves #2

This is my second week participating in stacking the shelves and hopefully it will be something I do each week. It will be challenging to remember what books I have acquired from week to week.

Summer Dayz

As we enjoy the last few days of the summer season I decided to honor the end of this season with a tribute of books. What better way for book lover to recognize the end of a season, right?! Summer has been good to me but I did not actually read any books with summer in the title this year (did you?!).

Here are a few books I have read that have summer in the title:
