Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Favorite Books of 2023. I am not going to try to narrow my favorites down to ten. With over 40 books added this year to my favorites shelf on Goodreads, I will do my best to narrow it down to a reasonable number. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Dear Henry, Love Edith has a cool cover.
ReplyDeleteHere is my Top Ten Tuesday post.
Lydia
Lydia, it was great.
DeleteHappy New Year! Looks like you had a great reading year :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lindsey, I did.
DeleteI love Daddy Long Legs! Man, that book is hilarious.
ReplyDelete(My TTT is here for this week.)
Rachel, yes, it is! I was disappointed that Dear Enemy wasn't as funny.
DeleteDear Enemy is not as funny, but I might actually like it a bit better. But I did not read them back-to-back, or even close together -- I think I read DE about a year after I first read DLL. So that may have made a difference.
DeleteOkay, I'll admit, I'm really curious why there's a toaster on the cover for Dear Henry, Love Edith. ;-) These all look like fun books! Happy reading in 2024!
ReplyDeleteHere's my TTT post this week.
Nicole, I'll never tell, LOL! You'd have to read it to find out.
DeleteHappy New Year! It looks like you read some fun favorites this year.
ReplyDeleteDeanna, I totally did!!!
DeleteI haven't read any of these and just thinking about the title of DADDY LONG LEGS gives me the heebie-jeebies, lol. I'm sure it's great, though, since it made your favorites list. Happy 2024! Thanks for stopping by my blog!
ReplyDeleteOh Jenni, the book is HILARIOUS and has NOTHING to do with spiders!!!
DeleteDaddy Long Legs is one of my favorite books! I still love it every time I read it, so much nostalgia!
ReplyDeleteHaze, I first read it on Kindle and LOVED the illustrations, so bought a copy and I was SO disappointed that the copy I bought didn't have them!!!
DeleteI love your list! So many good books that I enjoyed as well. I'm glad you were able to read so many fun books in 2023. Here's to 2024! Happy New Year, Cindy!
ReplyDeleteThanks Nicole, this is going to be a great year of reading as well :)
DeleteYou've got a couple favorite reads of mine on your list...like Hunter's A Novel Proposal and Walsh's Happy Life of Isadora Bentley. And several others are on my TBR list. :D
ReplyDeleteLark, so many great books out there :)
DeleteGreat list! I've been wanting to read The Happy Life of Isadora Bentley. Dear Henry, Love Edith is also in my TBR!
ReplyDeleteJolene-They are both fabulous!! I hope you love them when you get an opportunity to read them. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteIt looks like you had a great year of reading! May it continue in 2024.
ReplyDeleteJoy, I hope so :)
DeleteThese all look like such fun reads! I love the cover of Echoes Among the Stones.
ReplyDeleteWendy, it was so good! Her books are so atmospheric!
DeleteOoh, I don't know any of these, but it looks like a fun list!
ReplyDeleteThanks Nicky!

ReplyDeleteI read A Noble Masquerade and a few others from the series some years back. I was unfortunately not a fan, but I'm glad to know you liked it!
ReplyDeleteKristi, I think because I listened to it on audio I enjoyed it more than I would have if I had actually read it.
DeleteSo many of these sound amazing. I've been meaning to read Walsh's book. Thanks for the reminder. Hope you get to read tons of great books this year.
ReplyDeleteCheryl, I am sure I will :)
DeleteI always love the look and sound of Wright's books. The one I read by her (can't remember the title) wasn't all that great, though. Should I give her another chance?? Her books sound like ones I would like.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
Susan, you absolutely should give her another chance!! I didn't love On the Cliffs of Foxglove Manor...so if that is the one, try again!
DeleteI confess I haven't heard of any of these books but that is what I like about these end-of-year favorite lists...I find new books to try!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year.
Anne, exactly!! It's why we visit other blogs :)
DeleteI'm glad you found so many great books! I also couldn't narrow it down to 10.
ReplyDeleteAj, I understand!
DeleteSo many great books - and you know I loved Echoes Among the Stones. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah!
DeleteFantastic list, Cindy! I loved so many of these! Happy New Year! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Ashley!
DeleteI saw Pepper's at the store the other day and ALMOST picked it up because everyone loves her books. And I loved Lynette's Guardian series back in the day. Plus, for the market, that cover art was so different at the time. :) Glad you found some great 2023 reads, and thanks for visiting my list!
ReplyDeleteRissi, I loved Pepper's books and can't wait to read the next one in the series later this year.
