Hey my bookish friends! How was your week? Mine was long. I started Monday at the ER (chest pains), I am fine (thankfully!), came out with some referrals I needed anyway, and read an entire book. It was a hard work week, and other stressors from extended family. This morning I went to a craft fair and bought several designs of fabric for a quilt I am hoping to start soon.

Blessed Are the Spiraling is the first book I have read by Levi Lusko, but it will not be the last. This book is completely relatable, yet it's hard to find the right words to write a review.

My Review:

Sweet Tea and Thee is a very Southern devotional book. Linda Kozar has written 90 devotionals that start with a southern expression, or a quote from a poet, book, or Bible verse.

March Reading Wrap Up 2025

March was a mix of hard moments and fun moments. We had some sickness and I feel like I read more this month trying to relax from the stressful times. I read 25 books in March, but several were 2-stars so they won't be mentioned here. The Holly Series by C.C. Warrens remains one of my favorite suspense series! Perfect for those who do not enjoy romance in their stories. Holly has had a difficult life and is hiding from a stalker. My review of Criss Cross.

My Review:

The Cupid Chronicles by Courtney Walsh is the second book in the Only Magic in the Building series. It is a standalone book. These closed door, whimsical romance books are all set in the same historic building, which has a habit of playing matchmaker with its residents. There are light magical elements, but no spells, shifters, or dark magic.
