bookish friends! How are you all doing? Any plans for the weekend? I got the nanny job I interviewed for on Saturday, started on Monday. I will be working 2 full days a week with that family, plus our sewing business (I told you all about that, right?!). Wednesday I ended up in the doctor's office because my bronchitis started getting worse again. I am on meds and FINALLY feel like my cough is getting better. This morning I taught a sewing class, this afternoon I am catching up on blogging, and tomorrow I plan to go to Church, work on sewing projects, read and relax!

My coughing crud from last week ended up being bronchitis, so I have been trying to take it easy this past week, and I am still recovering. I have a job interview this morning, and we are celebrating my daughter's 21st birthday this afternoon. Other than that, I hope to read and relax this weekend.

bookish friends! How are you all doing? Any plans for the weekend? My son has been cleared to go back to work half-days next week, and we are thrilled! He is still recovering from his surgery, but hopefully he won't have any pain or anything. I am sick with some kind of coughing crud, so I will be chilling this weekend.

week. My daughter is on fall break and we had plans to be tourists in our area, but with my son still recovering from surgery, I am not sure how much we will actually get out and do. If nothing else, we will have some family time over the next few days.

bookish friends! How are you all doing? Any plans for the weekend? After getting home last weekend, my husband told me my son wasn't feeling that great. He ended up in the doctor's office Tuesday, a specialist on Wednesday, and surgery on Thursday. He is doing better, and on the road to recovery! Today, my daughter was heading back to college when she put her window down at a drive-thru and it refused to go back up 🤦, so she now has my car and hers will go in the shop on Monday. It has been a wild, busy, crazy week. The plan this weekend is to sew some projects, read, blog, and relax. Next week is another busy week, so really hoping to have a lot of downtime this weekend.

bookish friends! How are you all doing? Any plans for the weekend? I am in Pennsylvania for the weekend for a ladies retreat with some women from my church! I got here yesterday and went to a Cain, Katy Nicole, and David Leonard concert last night. It was fabulous!! I am worn out though, LOL! Today we are supposed to do a prayer walk/journaling activity this morning, go plant a succulent garden this afternoon, followed by an evening of relaxing. We head home tomorrow.

I spent the morning reviewing my book goals for the remainder of the year. I am sending back library books that don't meet those goals, and trying to keep my focus, LOL!!

bookish friends! How are you all doing? Any plans for the long weekend? I am dog sitting, so I am going to a friend's house four times a day to take care of her dog. My daughter is here until tomorrow, she came home to teach her Friday night classes, and was able to stay. I hope to visit a new bookstore this weekend, and other than the dog sitting, relax.

bookish friends! How are you all doing? Today we moved my daughter back to college. It was SO much easier than in previous years because we are so much closer! We went there and back in the same day, plus she is only an hour and a half away, she didn't have to take as much stuff! It was a long week. I plan to read, blog, go to Church, and rest for the remainder of the weekend. It's going to be odd trying to get into a new routine again.

was in the car all day, I just got home from visiting my sister in Tennessee. I loved spending time with my sister and brother, and their families. I got to spend a lot of time in the pool this past week, so I finally feel like I had summer 😃 Today, I am catching up and relaxing.

This morning my husband and I ran errands (including a trip to Barnes and Noble). This afternoon I worked on our business for a while, and then sewed for a while. Tomorrow I hope to rest and relax. I was sick for two weeks, my daughter and I lost our jobs (after we began the process of the small business, but not because of it), my sister and her family was visiting the second week of my sickness, and things have just been crazy. I have missed these posts and visiting your blogs!

I started a small business with my daughter, worked my normal job, and started getting sick Thursday, and had a full-blown cold (please let it only be a cold!) by last night. I am sick, but have been working all day on the small business stuff. I will be in all weekend attempting to get some rest and reading in! Happy Father's Day to the dads out there!!

We are going to Mansfield tomorrow morning to hear my daughter's boyfriend preach. Then, my daughter is having a bunch of friends over for a game afternoon...I will probably be hiding in my room after I make their food 😂
