November Reading Wrap Up 2023
November passed in a blur of work, travel, car troubles, and my son's ongoing recovery. I had some reading duds, but overall I think I had a
decent reading month. I read 13 books (low for me) and DNFed 1. Click on the cover of
the book if you are interested in the review.

Summer Reading Challenges Wrap-up
Normally I am late with these posts, but this time I am early, LOL. But, to be real, I know I am not going to read anymore big books before September 4th, and I won't get to anymore on my summer TBR. When I planned for these challenges I had NO idea I would lose my job and then spend 2ish months setting up my a small business. This REALLY cut down on my reading time.
So, what did I read. For the 20 Books of Summer Challenge, here were my possibilities (the ones I read are linked to my reviews):

Top Ten Tuesday-Top Summer Reads
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Characters from Different Books Who Should Team Up (or date, be friends with, etc.) (Submitted by Cathy @ WhatCathyReadNext). While it is a great topic, it is not one that would be easy for me to do. I am going to go with my top books I have read this summer. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Twice Sold Tales
Series: Bookstrings #1
Author: Chautona Havig
Publisher: Havilah Press Publications
Genre: Books About Books, Christian Fiction, Contemporary Romance,
Source: Library
Challenge: Books About Books
My Review:
It's been a while since I have read a book by Chautona Havig. I was drawn to Twice Sold Tales when I heard the setting was a bookstore (plus that cover!!!). It started getting a lot of hype, and I decided to reserve it from the library.

Top Ten Tuesday-Indie Authors
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Indie/Self-Published Books (submitted by Nicole @ BookWyrm Knits). I am excited about this title because I have read quite a few Indie Authors 😂 The hard part will be remembering WHO they all are, LOL. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
Top Ten Indie/Self-Published Authors:
You all know I am going to start with Emma St. Clair! I love her books. These represent two of her series. Emma writes sweet, closed-door romantic comedies. They are hilarious. Her heroines are typically sassy and there is always some kind of animal in each book (notice I didn't say pet 😂).

Top Ten Tuesday-Bookish Books to read
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic Bookish People I’d Like To Meet (These can be authors, book characters, book bloggers/influencers, cover designers, cover models, etc.) Since I really don't have any thoughts on this topic today...I decided to instead list ten bookish books that I want to read (Which might help me with this topic next time it comes up 😂). Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
Ten Bookish Books I want to read (and yes, you will have seen a few of these before because I own them and STILL haven't read them 🤦)

Top Ten Tuesday-Weddings
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is pick a genre and build around it. We won't talk about how tired my brain is or how hard this was for me 😂 I had recently said I love books with wedding dresses on it and it surprised someone, so this week I decided to prove that comment and build my list around weddings! I have other books with "bride" in the title, but I specifically went with covers that represented something to do with weddings. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
All things wedding, sorry, not sorry that it is more than 10! I own all of these in Kindle format:

Thirty Days Hath
Author: Chautona Havig
Genre: Christian Fiction
Publisher: Chautona Havig
Source: Kindle Own
My review:
I know I downloaded Thirty Days Hath simply because of the cover (I must have books if they have a wedding dress on the front!). It had been languishing on my Kindle for over two years, and I regret not getting to it sooner!
